Calendar Changes 2013 of the World Superbike

The mess that has ensued with Indian bureaucracy and the difficulties of getting the bikes into the country in time for the March 10 race, temporarily resolved according to the Italian website GPone.

Η Dorna, Italians write, acknowledging that it probably won't be able to bring racing bikes to India on 10 Of March, forced to postpone India's match for the 17 November. In other words, the second race of the season at the newly built Buddh International Circuit takes place… the final.

The race has been facing a number of obstacles for some time now, but Dorna had not found the time to deal with them. Craze, things that is. Τα οικονομικά των ομάδων είναι πολύ στριμωγμένα και αν οι εργοστασιακές θα μπορούσαν να αντεπεξέλθουν στους προσωρινούς δασμούς, το ίδιο δεν είναι βέβαιο και για τις δορυφορικές ή ιδιωτικές.

Μετά την απόφασή της, η Dorna για να αποφύγει την κατακραυγή, αφήνει να εννοηθεί ότι πραγματική αιτία δεν είναι η ινδική γραφειοκρατία, αλλά η ανετοιμότητα της διοργάνωσης να στήσει και εκτελέσει έναν αγώνα παγκοσμίου επιπέδου.

Πάντως η μετακίνηση του ινδικού γύρου επιβαρύνει έτσι κι αλλιώς τον προϋπολογισμό των ομάδων. Σύμφωνα με τον αρχικό σχεδιασμό, ο αγώνας της Ινδίας θα διεξαγόταν ύστερα από εκείνον της Αυστραλίας, αποτελώντας έναν ενδιάμεσο σταθμό στο ταξίδι επιστροφής στην Ευρώπη.

Τώρα οι Ομάδες πρέπει να μεταφέρουν όλον τον εξοπλισμό τους στην Αυστραλία, να επιστρέψουν σύσσωμες στην Ευρώπη και τον Νοέμβριο να «μεταναστεύσουν» ξανά συν γυναιξί και τέκνοις στην Ινδία για τον τελευταίο γύρο της χρονιάς.

All this, όταν βασική προτεραιότητα της Dorna είναι να μειώσει το κόστος των αγώνων… Κάπου έμπλεξε τα πόδια του ο πολύς κύριος Ezpeletta.

Πρόβλημα ίσως αποδειχτεί και η συμμετοχή του κόσμου τον Νοέμβριο, as 3 βδομάδες πριν διεξάγεται στην ίδια πίστα Budhh International ο ινδικός αγώνας της F1. Πολλοί φοβούνται ότι οι Ινδοί θεατές δεν έχουν το εισόδημα να παρακολουθήσουν 2 αγώνες παγκοσμίου επιπέδου σε έναν μήνα και πιθανότατα αυτό θα αποβεί εις βάρος του WSBK.

Πάντως δεν είναι μόνον αυτό το πρόβλημα του Παγκοσμίου Superbike φέτος. Σίγουρα πλέον δεν θα διεξαχθεί ο παραδοσιακός αγώνας στο Brno της Τσεχίας, αφού ο πατέρας του Κarel Abraham, ιδιοκτήτης της πίστας, προτίμησε να τη διαθέσει για έναν αγώνα του νεότευκτου Πρωταθλήματος Ταχύτητας Κεντρικής Ευρώπης!

Συμμετέχουν ομάδες από την Τσεχία, Italy, Germany, την Σλοβακία και την Ουγγαρία. Μετά την απόφαση του Abraham να στηρίξει τους αγώνες Κεντρικής Ευρώπης, το Brno τίθεται εκτός ημεολογίου WSBK μέχρι το 2015. Αυτό αναφέρει η γερμανόφωνη ιστοσελίδα Speedweek.

Τέλος αμφίβολος είναι και ο πορτογαλικός αγώνας στο Portimao, καθώς για να διεξαχθεί θα πρέπει να χορηγηθεί αδρά από την τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση, πράγμα απίθανο με δεδομένη την κακή οικονομική κατάσταση στη Ιβηρική.

Επιπλέον στοιχείο κατά της χρηματοδότησης είναι η τοποθεσία του Portimao. Βρίσκεται στην παράλια περιοχή Αλγκάρβε, ήδη πολύ ανεπτυγμένη τουριστικά, οπότε λίγα έχει να προσφέρει από πλευράς επισκεπτών στην περιοχή.

Theseus and Ariadne in Bull Island at the Badminton Theatre

The Badminton Theatre presents the children's show "Theseus and Ariadne on the island of Taurus" Is the motto of the 16th Spare Parts Bazaar 26 January – 28 April 2013.

Theseus and Ariadne on the Island of the Bulls, the first Greek children's theater production to stage Badminton, is a show that combines the spectacular with the educational character of ancient Greek myths.

The show tells the story of the mythical hero Theseus, son of King Aegeus and founder of Athens. Theseus, after breathtaking feats, travels to Crete and, with the help of the Gods and the beautiful Ariadne, defeats the Minotaur. The plot is riveting: all the Greek mythology - heroes participate in the adventure, mortals, wonderful but also terrible supernatural beings and of course the Olympian Gods.  From work to work and from city to city, knitwear is woven, hatred, suffering, but also friendships and loves and above all love! Battles languish on the road of Theseus, storms, mermaids – the adventures for true heroes never end.

Palaces parade on stage, seas, fortresses, ships, labyrinths, mermaids, bulls – bull eating –  gods emerging from the bowels of the earth, or fall from the sky, heroes, mortals, bright but also dark supernatural beings!

The text is signed by the acclaimed poet Stratis Paschalis.  The direction and choreography is by award-winning choreographer Sofia Spyratou. The original score was composed by one of the most remarkable young composers, who stood out through Schoolwave, Apollo Retsos. The imposing sets and costumes were designed by the always imaginative Manolis Pantelidakis, who created an impressive visual world, which gives the spectacle special, unforgettable authenticity. The size and quality of the show ensure, also, the Badminton Theater and Michalis Adams who signs the production.

More than twenty talented artists – aerial acrobats, actors, singers,  μουσικοί¬, some of whom are invited from abroad especially for this production – give flesh and bones to the legend.

The show stars one of the most important actors of the younger generation, Yannis Stankoglou, in the role of Theseus. With him the: Electra Nikolouzou and Georgina Paleothodorou. They also participate (in alphabetical order): Anna Athanasiadis, Alexandros Keivanais, Amalia Kosmas, Alexandros Laskaratos, Chloe Mantzari, Jeff Marawi, Yanna Medvedeva, George Pelagias, Chris Radanov, Alain Rivero Rodriguez, Yannis Smeros, Ivan Svitailo, Angeliki Trombouki, Alberto Feis, Rania Fovou, Iove Fragatou, Evi Hatzakis et al.

Theseus and Ariadne in Bull Island is a show that marks a new concept for children's theater, in a production equal to all the great shows hosted at the Badminton Theatre.
The archetypal Greek mythology and the rich, impressive sight for children are perceived as a top quality and priority educational process – especially in an age of emerging extremes – that the emphasis on reasonable moderation taught by classical education is vital.  Because the play talks about the meeting of two different cultures: on the one hand the measure and reason of Athens and on the other the mysticism and fist of the Minoan sea rule. The two cultures open a dialogue and get to know each other, conveying an important message to children.

Private collection of Picasso ceramic sculptures goes under the hammer

From Sotheby's London auction house

The sale of a private collection, which includes more than 100 Pablo Picasso ceramics, and which will take place on 19 Of March 2013, Sotheby's London auction house announced today.

As stated in the announcement of the house, these dishes full of character, bowls and vases transformed by Picasso into owls, goats, men, women, bulls and fish and were made at the famous Madura pottery workshop, they represent the completion of the artist's experimentation with the particular art form. Each of the pieces is priced from 2.000 to 30.000 pounds.

Ceramics are one of the oldest artistic expressions, were produced in the area since Roman times and the artist, he wanted to identify with the long history of artists who worked in this place.

The years that the artist spent in the Vallauris region were according to his biographers the happiest of his life and this gives an extra value to the works that are to be sold.

After all, Claude's son was born in the area, which he did with his partner François Gillot. His son's name, belongs to St. Claude, patron of ceramic art which shows how much Picasso loved ceramics.

Also in Madurai, Picasso met his last wife and muse, Jacqueline Rock, who stayed with him over 20 years, until the end of his life.

Along with the large collection of ceramics, the auction also includes several designs (in circulation) by Picasso, of Juan Miro and Andy Warhol owned by the mystery collector.

 The House's auction coincides with the great ceramics exhibition "Picasso ceramics: Jacqueline’s gift to Barcelona», held at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, whose exhibits were donated to the museum by Picasso's wife, Jacqueline. The auction will take place on the same day as the very important Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints with designs from past centuries.

Fines-"fire" for those who did not pay traffic taxes

They will be called with notices to pay double the price

– 1.100 euro for vehicles from 3.001 to 4.000 cubic centimeters.

– 1.320 euros for cars over 4.001 cubic centimeters.

Michalis Hatzigiannis: At Eurovision together with Valanto Tryphonos;

Nέο Tiger από την Triumph

Η Triumph παρουσίασε ένα νέο Tiger που χαρακτηρίζεται από το προσωνύμιο Sport. Οι αλλαγές που φέρει είναι εκτενέστερος από ό,τι αναμενόταν, οι περισσότερες για τόνωση του σπορ χαρακτήρα της μοτοσυκλέτας, κάποιες όμως με στόχο να κάνουν ευκολότερο το ταξίδι και τη καθημερινή χρήση της.

Οι αλλαγές απομακρύνουν το 1050 από τα Tiger Explorer και δημιουργούν μια ενδιαφέρουσα σειρά 3 μοντέλων με κυβισμό 800, 1050 και 1200cc. To Sport έχει τώρα 10 ίππους επιπλέον, μονόμπρατσο ψαλίδι, μεγαλύτερες βαλίτσες, ισχυρότερο υποπλαίσιο, σύγχρονο ABS, ακτινικές δαγκάνες μπροστά και νέους προβολείς.

Βασισμένο φυσικά στο υπάρχον 1050, το Sport ακολουθεί την ίδια αναγνωρίσιμη αισθητική, παρότι πολλά πλαστικά έχουν αλλάξει. Υπάρχει τώρα ποδιά, μια ολοκαίνουργια ουρά και νέα πλαϊνά. Οι προηγούμενοι προβολείς τύπου projector είχαν επικριθεί σφοδρά και έτσι αντικαταστάθηκαν από συμβατικούς κατοπτρικούς (τύπου reflector).

Η Triumph δηλώνει ότι όχι μόνον ζυγίζουν λιγότερο, αλλά αποδίδουν και καλύτερα. Σε κάνει να αναρωτιέσαι γιατί είχαν τοποθετηθεί αρχικά οι τύπου projector… Νέα είναι και η ζελατίνα του φέρινγκ, με βελτιωμένη αεροδυναμική απόδοση.

Engine, αν και εσωτερικά ίδιος, αποκομίζει την επιπλέον του δύναμη από αλλαγές σε εισαγωγή και εξαγωγή, έχοντας και περισσότερη ροπή σε όλες τις στροφές. Αποδίδει τώρα 123 horsepower (+10 από το απλό 1050) and 10,4 χλγμ ροπής.

Οι επεμβάσεις στο σύστημα ψεκασμού βελτίωσαν επίσης την κατανάλωση, με την Triumph να προσδιορίζει το όφελος στο +7%. End, η νέα εξάτμιση πρόσθεσε «βάθος» στον όμορφο βρυχηθμό του μεγάλου τρικύλινδρου κινητήρα.

Το μονόμπρατσο ψαλίδι δεν προέρχεται από το Speed Triple. Δεν ξέρουμε αν θα βελτιώσει τη συμπεριφορά του Sport αλλά δείχνει υπέροχο, ενώ ελευθερώνει χώρο για την εξάτμιση και τις βαλίτσες. Οι οποίες όχι μόνον είναι μεγαλύτερες, αλλά έχουν πιστοποιηθεί και για το διπλάσιο βάρος σε σχέση με τις προηγούμενες –δηλαδή στα 10 κιλά η καθεμία.

Αυτό οφείλεται στο νέο, ισχυρότερο υποπλαίσιο, χάρη στο οποίο η σέλα έχει μειωμένο ύψος κατά 5 mm (τώρα στα 830). Είναι επίσης πιο στενή στο μπροστινό της μέρος, πράγμα που βελτιώνει ακόμα περισσότερο τη δυνατότητα του αναβάτη να φτάνει το έδαφος και με τα δύο πόδια.

Ακόμα περισσότερο, almost 10 mm. έχει χαμηλώσει η σέλα του συνεπιβάτη, που πλέον νιώθει λιγότερο σαν να κάθεται στην κορυφή ενός βράχου. Οι χειρολαβές είναι τώρα πιο βολικές στη λαβή. Το τιμόνι είναι λίγο πιο στενό και πιο κοντά στον αναβάτη, ενώ ο χειρισμός του πίνακα οργάνων έχει μεταφερθεί στο αριστερό γκριπ – at last.

Στο πλαίσιο δεν υπάρχουν αλλαγές, αλλά η γωνία κάστερ είναι μικρότερη (μισή μοίρα), ενώ για διατήρηση της ισορροπίας στη γεωμετρία, έχει μακρύνει κατάτι το μεταξόνιο. Οι επεμβάσεις έχουν κατά την Triumph επιφέρει βελτίωση της ευκινησίας, της ακρίβειας αλλά και της σταθερότητας.
Η ανάρτηση είναι πλήρως ρυθμιζόμενη, φορά νέα ελατήρια και διαφορετικές ρυθμίσεις απόσβεσης για να αντεπεξέρχεται στην αυξημένη μεταφορική ικανότητα των αποσκευών. Τα φρένα επενεργούν πλέον στους δίσκους μέσω ακτινικών δαγκανών, υποσχόμενα καλύτερη ακρίβεια, αλλά ήδη το Tiger 1050 είχε εξαιρετικά φρένα.

Αυτό που θα κάνει τη διαφορά στον δρόμο, είναι το νέο σύστημα ABS σε αντικατάσταση του παλιωμένου υπάρχοντος που συνόδευε το Tiger από την εμφάνισή του και ήταν ήδη ξεπερασμένο. Οι νέες ζάντες φορούν τα καινούργια Angel GT της Pirelli.

Το Tiger Sport θα έρθει σε δύο χρώματα: κόκκινο και λευκό. Οι τιμές θα ανακοινωθούν τον Φεβρουάριο.

The Thessaloniki Film Library bows to Francois Trifos

Four films by the leading French director will be screened at the city's Port

In a few days he welcomes it 2013 with one more tribute, this time to the leading director of the French New Wave, François Truffaut. And many more to come.
With the title "Francois Truffaut: definitely cinema!» the tribute includes four films and will take place from Thursday 17 until Sunday 20 January 2013 in the Takis Kanellopoulos Hall (Cinema Museum – Thessaloniki Film Library, Warehouse A, Port).  
The four films begin with "Ta 400 hits" (“The Four Hundred Blows”, 1959), Trifo's first feature film and they end with "Definitely on Sunday" (“Can’t wait for Sunday!»,France, 1983), his swan song. "Fahrenheit 451" films will be shown in between («Fahrenheit 451»,  France/England, 1966) and "The Last Subway", (“The last metro”, France, 1980).
After the tribute "Francois Truffaut: definitely cinema!», will be followed by a series of tributes to great creators, who shaped the aesthetic values ​​with their work, the style and ethos of the Seventh Art: Luis Buñuel, Carl Dreyer, Ingmar Bergman.  
also,  the great tribute entitled "Rare Landscapes of Japanese Cinema" is expected, with rare films of such famous people (Akira Kurosawa, Nagisa Osima, Mr. Itchikawa, Sohei Imamura), as well as lesser known creators (Heinosuke Goso, Kozaburo Yoshimura, Kaneto Shinto, Yoshishige Yoshida), many of which will be shown for the first time in Greece.
According to the Film Archive, "non-negotiable goal is real entertainment _education of the soul_, the euphoria and reflection of the spectators, in a difficult time like today, where art -in our case, the cinema-, it can and should work therapeutically and comfortingly."
