Mitsubishi Lancer EVO vs Subaru Impreza: Ποιο είναι καλύτερο;

Ποιο από τα δύο είναι ο μεγαλύτερος ήρωας των ράλλυ; Οι διοργανωτές του μεγαλύτερου φεστιβάλ ιαπωνικών αυτοκινήτων στην Ευρώπη, του Japfest που φέτος θα διεξαχθεί στο Silverstone στις 30 April, είχαν την ιδέα να λύσουν τις διαφορές των δύο αυτοκινήτων μια και καλή.

Για τη γενιά του Playstation τα Mitsubishi Lancer EVO και Subaru Impreza είναι δύο θρυλικά αυτοκίνητα αλλά σαφώς και σημαίνουν περισσότερα για όσους τα έζησαν την εποχή της κυριαρχίας τους στο Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Ράλλυ τις δεκαετίες του ’90 και του 2000.

Οι ηρωικές τους μάχες σε χώμα και άσφαλτο σε όλα τα μήκη και πλάτη της υφηλίου είναι πλέον μνημειώδεις με το Impreza να έχει κερδίσει περισσότερη λάμψη: 46 νίκες έχει πετύχει το Impreza και 26 το Lancer αλλά τελικά πιο είναι το πιο αγαπημένο αυτοκίνητο για τους λάτρεις των ιαπωνικών σπορ αυτοκινήτων;

Οι διοργανωτές του Japfest αποφάσισαν να λύσουν τις διαφορές των fans μέσω ειδικής ψηφοφορίας που θα διεξαχθεί διαδικτυακά στο site του φεστιβάλ www.japfest.co.uk μέχρι τις 9 April, ενώ υπάρχει ήδη πρόσκληση στα clubs της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας να συμμετάσχουν σε αγώνες με Impreza και Lancer.

Νέο Opel Insignia: Το καλύτερο μοντέλο της γερμανικής μάρκας

Στη Φρανκφούρτη οδήγησα το τελευταίο μοντέλο της μάρκας που έχει σαν σημαία τη γερμανική τεχνολογία. Ο λόγος για το νέο Opel Insignia Grand Sport, ένα οικογενειακό αυτοκίνητο με σπορ στοιχεία που θα μπορούσε να ανήκει στη γκάμα μιας πολυτελούς φίρμας. Το νέο Opel Insignia υιοθετεί τη σπορ γραμμή ενός μεγάλου κουπέ.
Ενώ το μεταξόνιο έχει αυξηθεί κατά 92 mm. στα 2.829 χιλ., οι πρόβολοι έχουν μειωθεί αισθητά και τα μετατρόχια έχουν διευρυνθεί κατά 11χιλ. Μία χαμηλότερη κατά 29 mm. γραμμή οροφής, η μάσκα με τους λεπτούς προβολείς και η high-tech εμφάνιση του πίσω τμήματος κάνουν το Insignia εντυπωσιακό με αθλητικό και κομψό σχήμα που θυμίζει ένα τετράθυρο coupé. Επίσης έχει εξαιρετικό συντελεστή οπισθέλκουσας 0,26 είναι ένα από τα πιο αεροδυναμικά αυτοκίνητα στην κατηγορία του.
