BMW M135i comes with at least 320 horsepower

A real explosive version of the new Series 1 this time with the accompanying M logo is prepared by BMW. The 5-door model will use a 3-liter turbo engine with power of at least 320 horses.

A few days ago, BMW has revealed the features of some new M models (eg M550d) thus attracting the increased interest of the international special press. But what the German brand did not tell us is the new explosive version it is preparing for the new Series 1. This is the M135i model for which we may not have an official photo in our hands, but we know some of its "fairytale" technical elements. More specifically, the M135i will carry a 3-liter 6-cylinder 2-fold turbocharged engine with a power that will touch or even exceed 320 horsepower, while its torque will reach 450 Nm. The presentation of the car is expected to take place at the Geneva show, with the version in question naturally positioned at the top of BMW's range 1. Will we see an even more powerful M version when the 3-door Series is launched? 1;

The diesel Skoda Octavia5

The release of diesel drives motivates those who want an Octavia5 with enhanced fuel economy and low road tax, to look at the diesel version 1,6 TDI.

Nevertheless, however we do it there is an issue. And this is the 1,2 TSI petrol engine of 105 PS, so comparisons are inevitable. It is a fact that, the average consumption of the particular engine is 1,2 lt./100 km. higher and the resulting road taxes are 147,4 euro, but Octavia5 1,2 ΤSI costs 4.200 euros less (after discounts applicable to both models). If of course we are talking about the same Ambiente equipment version with which the diesel Octavia5 starts, because the 1,2 TSI starts from Comfort with which the difference reaches 5.650 euro. It is therefore obvious that a substantial benefit from the choice of the diesel version will have those whose driving menu includes many kilometers.
Motor- Performances: Saves gasoline!
THE 1,6 Octavia5 common rail turbodiesel wins impressions with its torque and fuel economy. Only at idle it sounds like a diesel, while there are also some vibrations that reach the leg. Otherwise, it's not sluggish at low revs, uploads with ease, it does not produce much noise and moves the Octavia5 very efficiently. In fact, in direct opposition to the version 1,2 TSI, the model we tested was only marginally faster at 0-100 km / h and obviously more willing to repeat (the edition 1,2 TSI has a 6-speed gearbox anyway). However, consumption is a basic quality and only reaches 4,5 lt./100 km. (CO2 emissions 119 g/km).

A temple of the middle Byzantine period, the only one found in the area, with a cemetery of later date, excavated in the valley of Tempe, in the framework of the works for the opening of the tunnels in Kissavos. The first evidence for the Byzantine temple was presented at an event of the association for the environment "Dryas", which took place in Larissa, the archaeologist, deputy head of the 7th Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities, Stavroula Sdrolia.
"Traces of two mason banks of a sacred step were found, both in the central niche and in the south, evidence that there was a recently formed chapel", said Ms. Sdrolia in "Ethnos" and completed: "the northern portico is preserved at a lower level and shows traces of an older phase compared to that of the rest of the building".
The temple dates back to the 10th and 11th centuries and it is possible that it was destroyed by fire during the period of the Frankish conquest in 1024. It belongs to the type of road temple with a parapet, dimensions 12X11.60 meters, which bears to the east 3 semicircular niches. A cemetery was found in the surrounding area of ​​the temple and many graves were excavated, several of which are of elaborate construction, which shows that the cemetery had organization and duration.
“So far they have been identified 50 graves, while the excavation continues and both the multiple burials and the frequent presence of young children can be attributed to an epidemic or other disaster", said Ms. Sdrolia. From the few findings of the tombs, they seem to date back to the 12th century., while the temple can be placed in the immediately preceding period.
The archaeologists point out that the lack of ceramics and other finds in the temple make it difficult to date it and they estimate that they will have safe conclusions when the excavation is completed and the study of the material proceeds. "The important thing is that it is the first temple of this era to be found in the area of ​​Tempe, and the hypothesis of his connection with the bishopric of Lycostomi is tempting (Tempe), mentioned in Byzantine sources from the 10th century and has not been identified until today, while it is known to be transferred later ?between the 13th and 15th centuries- in Platamonas", said Ms. Rolls.
The temple is located to the east of the great and important Byzantine inn and at a distance of just 15 meters from it. The inn is a large one, rectangular building, length 27 meters and width 7 meters, with wide walls 1 meter, built on the site of a Roman station. The construction of the inn dates back to the time of Emperor Theophilos (829-842), and in fact traces of Hellenistic habitation and part of a cemetery were found under the complex.
The inn, extent 500 sq.m., offered a breath of relief, good food and wine to travelers who were almost walking 3 hours of walking in the valley, to reach Larissa or Northern Greece.

The "Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory» is not the only documentary about the American justice system as another murder case that shocked the USA, lies at the heart of "Into the Abyss: A Tale of Death, a Tale of Life»directed by the distinguished German directorWerner Herzog. His lens follows the story of the 28-year-old Michael Perrywho was sentenced to death and his accompliceJason Burkettwho is serving a life sentence. In this case though, Herzog does not dispute the defendants' guilt. It focuses on the impact of the case on the relatives of both the murdered, as well as those convicted.
Driven by his personal interest in astronomy, the Chilean directorPatricio Guzman with the "Nostalgia for the light»signed an unusual political commentary on the oppressed under the Pinochet regime, Chile.
