Eleni Menegaki : "A breakup can't be good"

On the occasion of Saint Valentine's Day, today's Eleni Menegaki show started with George Sampanis and Elisavet Spanou singing the song "Days when I don't love you".

"Happy birthday guys!" he said, after the end of the song the 42-year-old presenter to her two guests, and continued, looking at her partners: "They say that lovers can be seen from afar, because they shine! Let's see, who really are in love; (…) It's a beautiful thing to be in love. To forget the problems - the everyday ones, because the most serious ones I don't know if they can be overcome simply with love".

Subsequently, the discussion moved to the love that remains alive after a separation and Eleni Menegaki commented: "Being divorced doesn't mean you've come full circle and are no longer in love. There are breakups where the situation is over, but there are also separations where the story is not over, but unfortunately various issues led her there. (…) There are relationships that end, they reach the end, and couples can break up even amicably if the relationship has reached that point. Sure, a breakup can't be good - that's what I'm saying, with my own life experiences, I don't represent the whole world. But there is the separation that the couple has come full circle and there are also separations between couples who are in love, but they fight , they disagree…we've all been through this”.

The station wagon version of the Chevrolet Cruze is also ready

With a very interesting appearance and intense doses of practicality, the station wagon body version of the Cruze is coming soon to strengthen the lineup of the Chevrolet family.
Having already cleared a very positive commercial course, the Cruze is gradually getting new additions to its range which are expected to further enhance its commercial profile. So after the 4-door Cruze we know and the 5-door Cruze hatchback that was launched recently, the family Chevrolet is expected to get a station wagon body version which will be officially presented at the Geneva show next March.
Initially, our interest is located both in the aesthetics of the car which looks very interesting and modern, contrary to what is the case with many station wagons that lag far behind in design.
Also, at the level of practicality, Chevrolet emphasizes that its new model has luggage space 500 liter, a number that triples when the rear seats are folded down.
In what has to do with the motors of the length 4,59 model meters, its range is not going to differ substantially from what we already know, with a gasoline engine 1,6 and 1,8 liters but also with a very interesting diesel 1,7 liters of power 132 horsepower and with barely CO2 119 gr / km.

Rambla derby 300: Small urban fireball

With a powerful engine, affordable price, very good performance but also top flexibility, the Rambla scooter by Derbi moves around town like no other!
Someone talked about flexibility; Because if someone intended to do it, it is good that he waits his turn, as the Rambla 300 has the first and last word on the matter, thanks to its small dimensions, its spark and mid-rpm engine performance. Ah, those middle turns…

Forgive me if I dwell on the Rambla's mid-range performance, but it was my favorite part of it. I will try, Nevertheless, to give the necessary weight to his other positives as well (and of course also in its negatives), as did the Derbi officials, who did not leave any of the characteristics of the Rambla to chance. Sure, the engine change is the only difference between the Rambla 300 and the previous version of 250 ml, however, the Spaniards probably did not consider some other changes to the scooter necessary.

Aesthetics: He remains aggressive
The Spanish did not change anything in the aesthetics of the Rambla, as it was not deemed necessary to strengthen the -anyway- sport philosophy that its appearance declares. Its plastics are full of corners and its grille is the sharpest part on the scooter. The mask, as in the previous model, acquires doses of malice, thanks to the aggressive headlights and grilles on the top, while the plastics around the steering wheel seem to be a natural continuation of the small black jelly. Corners are plentiful at the back of the scooter as well. In the queue there is also the only non-sport visible element of the Rambla, the small grill, while the aggressive design is completed by the double rear light. End, the red seams of the saddle also contribute to the aesthetic philosophy of the Derbi, the digital instrument panel with the white analog speedometer and one of the most beautiful logos in the class. Spaces / Comfort: It has some of those too! Despite its sporty character, which was boosted with the new engine, as well as its small dimensions, the Rambla is not going to disappoint in these areas. Sure, don't expect an armchair driving position and huge spaces - the Rambla delivers, but he doesn't study well. It cannot be otherwise, after all. Above all, it is a petite and versatile scooter. The driving position, Well, she is comfortable, although narrow and gives an upright posture to the body. The rider can also bring his body into a more aggressive position, while the space for the legs will not be a problem. Nothing more than a jet helmet will fit under the saddle. Small things can be placed in the glove compartment of the apron and bags on the special hook. End, an extra top case will easily fit on the rack.

Frame / Posts Related to sport movement
The frame and suspension are the two elements of the Rambla that are most responsible for its good sporting behavior, after the engine. The double tubular frame is made of aluminum and is particularly rigid, which will be especially appreciated when the Rambla is on an incline. Posts follow the same philosophy. The front fork of the 35 mm. it won't complain under lean or hard braking, while the double shock absorber at the back provides rigidity and will not complain easily. However, this stiffness also translates into... harsh behavior of the scooter when faced with potholes and bad road surface.

Brakes: Immediately
Rambla's braking system 300 consists of two disks 260 mm. on the front wheel and one 220 mm. in the back. Brake action is immediate and power is felt every time the rider squeezes the lever. However, their immediacy and the power that characterizes them, caused frequent wheel lockups in our test model. Anyway, at this point it should be clarified that this particular model was unblasted, which means that brake performance but -mainly- and tires, expected to improve, reducing said blockages.

Motor: Transformation!
For one more time, Piaggio's Quasar disproved those who believed it showed the, what was there to show. Taking a light and agile scooter and putting an engine with increased torque levels and smooth operation, the Derbi engineers gave the Rambla not only a new lease of life, but a current capable of sweeping away everything in its path. The operation of the engine will give you a rough idea of its moods, but when the revs reach the low-mid operating range, will start a... urban party that hardly exists like it! Throttle responses are immediate, the torque is satisfying and the behavior of the Derbi is able to convince even the most skeptical of its capabilities. The good image will continue even at high revs, although at high speeds it will remind you that it is simply a single cylinder 300. Driving: It doesn't spoil for you! The new Rambla will initially tempt you with its light weight and compact dimensions that allow it to fit everywhere. On the way, Nevertheless, it will blow your mind with the engine performance at low and medium revs. Thanks to her, it will move in sport rhythms and will impress with its flexibility. Moreover, setting up the scooter serves the same purpose, i.e. sports behavior, and this is made evident by the fact that the Rambla will not spoil you but a few favors along the way. You want explosive starts; Open the gas and few will be able to follow you at the traffic lights. You want big slopes; Turn, move into the saddle and you'll realize that suspension and frame limits will be slow to come (those of the tires will probably come first). You want security and immediate immobilizations; Here it will spoil it for you a little, due to some unwanted blocks, although the overall image of the brakes is considered satisfactory. Naturally, the Rambla will also do you some practical favors, but not all. It will move comfortably between cars, he'll turn his steer a lot when maneuvering and won't tire you easily in his saddle. On the other, Nevertheless, it will not be able to carry many things, it will beat its suspension on bad road surface and will not protect you enough from the wind at high speeds.

Conclusion: Lots of positives
Small dimensions and low weight are the first positive elements of the Rambla 300. And coupled with its engine and chassis and suspension performance, the above features give another advantage to the Spanish scooter: flexibility and sport behavior. We can add more positive elements to this list (youthful appearance and big wheels), as well as negatives (poor tire performance, small spaces). Closing, another element that plays a particularly important role is its price, which, στα 3.775 euro, is the lowest in the category.
