Mikis Theodorakis turns ninety years old today and on the occasion of his birthday – but also the informal "Year of Theodorakis" – many events are organized both in Greece and abroad, in honor of the great composer. The Palace Garden is expected to be packed tonight for the tribute, where the presence of the great musician, Eleni Vitali, Zacharias Karounis and Betty Charlauti collaborate with the Mikis Theodorakis Folk Orchestra to perform classical pieces and excerpts from "Axion Esti".
Today, besides, as in the next two days, the Second Program of Public Radio modifies its program in the context of the special Miki Theodorakis Week.
