Dark, the beautiful village of the municipality of Hersonissos in Heraklion, Crete, where about forty years ago the inhabitants started a very healthy habit... Not to smoke!!!
Kyou don't know how they made the anti-smoking decision, but its observance by the whole village created a tradition, one “unwritten law” unique for Greek “summer holidays “data.

Dedicated to World Color Day

The "Sunflower Festival" is coming to the Youth Center.

On Thursday 28 March on 6:30, p.m. at the Youth Center of the Municipality of Heraklion, the "Book Travelers" of the Ameny club "Rodavgi", are celebrating world color day, they have their transparent boat full, with poetic sun colors and dedicate them to the children of the whole world.

The event is curated by the visual artist, Theodosia Argyraki-Asargiotaki, volunteer instructor, team coordinator, the "Book Travelers" of Rodavgi.

 

 

 

Ministry of Culture and Sports: grant of "Culture for children and youth" programs

The Ministry of Culture and Sports is pleased to issue for the first time a call for expressions of interest to legal entities under private law with public or cultural purposes, for submitting grant requests for actions and cultural programs aimed at children and teenagers (to 18 years) and will take place during it 2019.

The improvement and development of the relationship of children and adolescents with the culture of everyday life and cultural goods, which is one of the strategic objectives of the YPPOA, is promoted through the support of actions and programs that will bring the younger ages close to creative groups, they will familiarize them with contemporary artistic creation, and will stimulate the imagination, their experience and participation.
