Η Ελλάδα και η Ισπανία θα πρωταγωνιστήσουν στα ταξίδια των Αυστριακών το 2017, αφού όπως τόνισε ο πρόεδρος της Ομοσπονδίας Αυστριακών Τουριστικών Γραφείων ÖRV , Mr. Josef Peterleitner, αυτές οι δύο χώρες αποτελούν τους δημοφιλέστερους προορισμούς για τους βόρειους ταξιδιώτες, σύμφωνα με τις μέχρι τώρα κρατήσεις. Η Βουλγαρία, η Κύπρος , η Πορτογαλία και το Μαρόκο βρίσκονται επίσης ανάμεσα στους σημαντικότερους προορισμούς ενώ φαίνεται πως ξεκινούν συγκρατημένα και οι κρατήσεις για Τουρκία. Σημαντική ενίσχυση του ενδιαφέροντος των Γερμανών τουριστών για διακοπές στην Eλλάδα τη φετινή σεζόν δείχνουν τα στοιχεία της TUI Γερμανίας, με τον γνωστό tour operator να κάνει λόγο για αύξηση 41% στις κρατήσεις όσον αφορά τη θερινή περίοδο.Η Ελλάδα είναι ο προορισμός με τη μεγαλύτερη αύξηση κρατήσεων από τη Γερμανία, σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία που ανακοίνωσε ο tour operator. Σημειωτέον πως τη νέα σεζόν ο TUI προσφέρει πολύ περισσότερες επιλογές διακοπών στην Ελλάδα. In fact, η προσφορά στα δημοφιλή νησιά της Κρήτης, της Ρόδου και της Κω έχει διευρυνθεί κατά 40%.
