Επτά άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους κατά το διάστημα από 1 to 8 Ιανουαρίου λόγω επιπλοκών που εμφάνισαν μετά τη νόσησή τους με γρίπη Α(Η3Ν2), «εμπλουτίζοντας» με τον πιο θλιβερό τρόπο τα επιδημιολογικά στοιχεία για την εποχική γρίπη του Κέντρου Ελέγχου και Πρόληψης Νοσημάτων (ΚΕΕΛΠΝΟ). Overall, οκτώ είναι τα θύματα της γρίπης από τον περασμένο Δεκέμβριο οπότε άρχισαν να κυκλοφορούν οι ιοί της νόσου.Οι ειδικοί του ΚΕΕΛΠΝΟ αποδίδουν την αύξηση της θνητότητας στη μεγάλη δραστηριότητα της γρίπης και στο κύμα ψύχους που πλήττει το τελευταίο διάστημα τη χώρα.Παράλληλα με την εκτίναξη των θανατηφόρων περιστατικών της γρίπης καταγράφεται κατακόρυφη άνοδος στα βαριά περιστατικά τα οποία χρειάζονται νοσηλεία σε Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας (ΜΕΘ) – στις τόσο δυσεύρετες ΜΕΘ όπως έχει γράψει το protothema.gr όπου η λίστα αναμονής αριθμεί σε ημερήσια βάση 50 with 70 ασθενείς.Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία του ΚΕΕΛΠΝΟ, 20 ασθενείς εισήχθησαν σε ΜΕΘ κατά την πρώτη εβδομάδα του μήνα και του έτους. Συνολικά έχουν καταγραφεί μέχρι τώρα 39 σοβαρά κρούσματα εργαστηριακά επιβεβαιωμένης γρίπης, που χρειάστηκαν νοσηλεία σε ΜΕΘ.Μεγάλη αύξηση καταγράφεται όμως και στην κυκλοφορία της γρίπης στην κοινότητα, όπως αυτή αποτυπώνεται στις επισκέψεις πολιτών σε γιατρό με συμπτώματα γριππώδους συνδρομής.Continue here…
