Christina Lampiri : "I didn't feel like I did anything that would bother Eleni"

For her Nicoletta Ralli and its replacement «Super Star» from “Made In Star”—which ultimately failed to complete the television season- but she also talked about Eleni Menegaki in her interview in the magazine “Okay!» Christina Lampiri.

"No, for God's sake" answered the well-known presenter categorically when asked if last September, returning from her vacation, found Nicoletta Ralli sitting at her desk in the canal, as some had said then. “I found no one sitting in my seat when I returned. We agreed with the station that I would eventually take over the tickets and everything went smoothly" he said, emphasizing how "Nikoletta Ralli is an extraordinary and beautiful creature and television needs fresh and restful faces".

As for the fact that 'Made In Star' ultimately failed to stay on the air until the end of the season: "Let's not forget the incalculable factor "Menegaki" who was in front of her" he stated, including, Christina Lampiri.

End, commented on the statement that Eleni Menegaki had recently made about the midday broadcasts (he had mentioned that they had no other topic than gossip, separating her show from these kinds of shows): "I never felt that I was doing something so ¨hardcore¨ that it would bother Eleni. Perhaps we have misunderstood the concept of lunch. In my opinion, morning study and Eleni's show and to a large extent also Morning Mou and especially last year I think that there were characterizations and behaviors outside our own zone which in my eyes made them a tougher lunch than, what was Super Star. But also on Eleni's show today they have a big section dedicated to the gossip of the day, as we had, they have interviews, medical issues, as we had, and the only thing that differentiates them is the cooking and astrology part. Now that I think about it again, Super Star was probably a breakfast restaurant. Perhaps the show is ultimately made by the time and not the content".

Mina Orfanou: I never got to the point of doing sidewalk

The word "boy" does not exist for her, she has buried the past and all the childhood experiences that hurt her to the "bottom of the earth".

She simply listened to her deepest self and recognized what she always was. Gender reassignment surgery was a decision she made without thinking.

Mina Orfanou is an artist of many talents. Besides acting, another favorite form of expression for her is painting. Take the risk, she left her island at a very young age and chased her dreams and the life she dreamed of. She can be proud that she achieved her goals while maintaining her dignity.

Panos Koutras chose her for the film "Strella" for which she received an award for her performance, while this year we see her in a different role in "The Kings".

She is cultured, she knows how to talk and escapes the stereotype that transgender means sidewalks and drugs. He managed to escape the trap of underestimation and not get lost...

She owes the quality and values she has as a person to her family and the way she grew up.

In the confessional interview he gave to the magazine "Life&Style" gave her take on prostitution and satisfied the curiosity of those wondering if she's ever hit the pavement.

"Prostitution for you is something acceptable;»
"Christ approached the harlot first. People approached her with stoning. Hats off to those who do this work, because he wants guts. A mother may prostitute herself to save her child. Most, it is also a matter of survival. At that time, these women don't kill. Nor do they sell their souls. Because if they sold her they couldn't go with a second customer. They lend their bodies for five minutes. I only criticize jobs that cause death to others, like being a drug dealer or trading bodies for prostitution”.

"Have you ever walked a sidewalk?;»
"No. I never got to that point.".

"You could if the going got tough;»
"If the going gets tough, you have other things to do. This is the easy fix. Pure money. A woman who prostitutes herself, he can make the same amount of money in a day as someone makes in a month. Money is sweet to some people".

“You consider yourself not of this world;»
"Each of us belongs to another world. My hands are shaking. If I don't make it out of acting, I will get out of my painting and crafts. If I don't make any of them, I will put on a rasa and go to live with my aunt, who is a nun. I will also eat my fresh eggs, I will also drink my fresh milk!».

"They look at you differently on the street;»
"I don't think I look what I am, for sure, when I leave the house I don't wear a tag that says ”Hello, I'm transgender”. I feel though, that people expect me to tell them things that I have never done in my life".

“That sign anyway, he put you in the field and offered you publicity…”
"No. I pulled her off me and threw her. I decided to declare, for the last time, that I am transgender. The time has come, at last, to bury in the core of the earth all that they have said about me. I will never do another interview to talk about my past. I wasn't born to give interviews".

Autonomous vehicle gets... license!

The now well-known autonomous vehicle used by Google to develop said technology, no it just got the green light, but also a driver's license from the state of Nevada!
For a few years now it has been known that Google is preparing technology that will simply enable a car to move without the necessary involvement of the driver, as required today.

Google's efforts are taking place in a Toyota Prius that has covered over a million kilometers, in various lengths and breadths of the earth, without causing a single accident! These efforts seem to have come to fruition, since the US state of Nevada, is now the first to give official permission, or otherwise our familiar "driver's license" in said car, which will now be able to move in the area without restrictions, and of course always with the presence of a driver!

LYRIC STAGE : Summer with Shakespeare and Verdi

"Romeo and Juliet" at the Concert Hall open the curtain of the summer program. There will be more to come 44 performances until July

"Trovatore" at the Herodeion and dance evenings in the shadow of the Acropolis include the summer program of the National Opera

Despite the difficult financial conditions, the "National Opera" is intensifying its outgoing course this summer. In the difficult economic situation, the only opera theater of our country responds with 45 performances - from small productions to operas at Herodeion- within a period of three months (May, June, July). Lyrika's summer program "is designed around four main axes: the new opera productions, ballet productions, educational programs and actions outside Athens", emphasized yesterday during his presentation the artistic director of ELS, Myron Michaelidis.
Two operas in Herodion. Verdi's Trovatore, one of the most popular works of the leading Italian author who has rightly been called "the archetypal romantic melodrama".

The production, which is traditionally included in the program of the Athens Festival, directed by the Italian Stefanos Ponta, a special artist with a visual eye, whose works are characterized by their aesthetic unity (10, 12, 13, 14/6). One of the most famous… opera thriller, "Tosca", Puccini's masterpiece, the ELLS summer program will be closed. The direction, he has taken over the sets and costumes, here, the internationally acclaimed Argentinian opera director Hugo De Ana (26, 27, 28, 29/7). With psychoanalysis as the main thematic element, the Modern Opera will premiere at the "Olympia" theater, the "European Music Day" (21/6). Three one-act plays will be presented in a single setting, two of which are by young Greek composers and resulted from the competition for "New Opera Work by a Greek Composer". Ballet performances begin tonight with "Romeo and Juliet", at the Concert Hall. Two evenings of dancing follow in the Roman Agora where, in the shadow of the Acropolis, the ELLS ballet will perform two choreographies by Renato Zanella on top of two of the most beautiful piano concertos ever written. This is the piano concerto no. 23 by Mozart and the "Imperial" piano concerto no. 5 of Beethoven (30/6 and /7).

The new choreographers of the ELS Ballet will present their choreographies at the "Olympia" theater (14 and 15/7). "Our important priority" is education, underlined Mr. Michailidis, before referring to the first phase of the new educational program "Opera interactively in Primary Schools", during which students will watch Rossini's The Barber of Seville (until its end 2013 production will visit 70 schools throughout Greece). A new and very important collaboration begins with the National Library, in view of the future co-housing at the "Stavros Niarchos" Foundation Cultural Center. It opens with the performance "Bohemian" by Valitsa Opera (27/5).

Ancient theaters

Lyriki aims to carry out actions in places outside of Athens. Its first major collaboration this year aims to highlight ancient theaters throughout Greece and is with the association "Diazoma". It will present shows in restored theaters, starting with Puccini's "Bohemian" at the Ancient Theater of Messina (6, 7/7) and in the Ancient Theater of Oiniades (13/7). The Ballet will present excerpts from this year's productions, , at the Aegean Festival (19, 20, 22/7).
