Despina Vandi : How she unwittingly got involved in the loan sharking scandal

For a decade the loan shark gang operated in Thessaloniki and Halkidiki, lending at high interest rates, selling protection and extortion. Among her victims was Demis Nikolaides and -indirectly- his wife, Despina Vandi.

According to an extensive report by the "Espresso" newspaper, the gang from Thessaloniki set their sights on the couple's real estate and Despina Vandi's money.. From the telephone conversations of the perpetrators recorded by the police, it turns out that it was for a "new job" that the former football player had asked to do, loan sharks wanted to include the 42-year-old singer's property in the terms of the loan.

Demis Nikolaides allegedly asked the criminal organization for a new loan,without also establishing whether the transaction finally went through. What is worth noting is that the two moneylenders with whom the ex-footballer had been forced to deal proceeded to a new conversation in which the conditions for giving him the amount: “…I mean, if he has any "clean" property, anything. To put his wife. Let him put his wife to be covered. You know how much I want him now; None 500-600 He will want thousands now... The thing is, he will ask, that's the only thing for sure, I got it…”, they mentioned in their telephone communication.

Ferrari FF with 80% lower pollutants

This is a conversion to a Ferrari FF, which now with a simple kit, burns bioethanol. Result: horsepower shot up, and pollutants down!

The impressive first four-wheel drive Ferrari in history, also known as FF, is the model chosen by a conversion company in Norway (after a Mercedes ML63 AMG that was also successfully converted), as its next model that will use bioethanol for its movement.

The result was, more than satisfactory. Horsepower rose to 875 horses from "just" 660 of the regular version, and the pollutants of their V12 engine 6,3 liters decreased by 80%! The acceleration for the 0-100 h.a.o. also improved at 3,5 δλ. from the 3,7 δλ. of the regular version, and to think that the conversion kit costs just 1.500 euro!

In less than a year the new McLaren F1!

The new McLaren model that will be the worthy descendant of the legendary F1 is now in the works. The information states that it will use a V8 engine 3,8 liters with 800 horsepower.

The MP4-12C can be placed right among the top supercars, but who can forget his legendary McLaren F1 1992, and the "very" Gordon Murray who played the leading role in its implementation! So as we all expect, the even better McLaren, or else the worthy offspring of F1 is under development and will be presented in less than a year, according to the British special press.

In fact, there is a lot of information that has started to leak, and they want the model to literally look "unreal"., with "curves" in the roof for the heads of the passengers, reminiscent of racing construction.

But the important thing is what engine will be hidden under the hood, or else… behind the backs of the passengers. So the first information indicates that the new P12 will make use of a V8 as a whole 3,8 l, which, however, with two turbos will perform about them 800 horsepower! also, there is talk of using the KERS system also known by F1 (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), which will further increase the model's HP for a few seconds.
