After dieselgate: Which diesels really pollute;

Last year, immediately after the Frankfurt exhibition, the Volkswagen Group was at the center of the scandal, of the so-called Dieselgate. In cars that were circulating in the USA and had diesel engines of pre-Euro technology 6, software was found that recognized the vehicle was receiving an emissions test and automatically dropped the emissions. But what about today; How dangerous new diesel engines are to public health;

“General” Diesegade

Transport's survey results & Environment (T&E), umbrella organization of European non-governmental organizations, are surprising. They show that the Euro 6 Volkswagen diesels are the cleanest in the automotive industry right now!The T&E analyzed data from emissions tests of approx 230 cars with a diesel engine. Emissions prices are from M governments. Britain, France and Germany but also a large public database.

The tests were done on the road under realistic driving conditions and not on some laboratory bench. What did the tests show; That all diesels exceed the permissible levels of nitrogen oxide (NOx), high emissions of which are responsible for serious diseases, such as asthma, bronchitis and emphysema (lung disease).

Hyundai is preparing a pick up

Hyundai is preparing the first pick-up in its history and now, new information from abroad says that the new model will be delayed since it is expected on the market after the 2020.

As we have written in the past, the Hyundai pick-up will be based on the Santa Cruz prototype that the company presented at the Detroit Auto Show in 2015. However and despite the existence of the original, the production version will still be a while to come, since the General Manager of Hyundai Australia Mr. Scott Grant, revealed in an interview that the first Korean pick-up will come to market 2020.
Hyundai's goal is to bring us a traditional pick-up, which will compete with the likes of Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger and will have 4X2 and 4X4 versions. What will happen in the end, we will see it in 3 years from today.
