The exploits of Theseus at the National Archaeological Museum

Invitation for children on 25 November

Children are invited to watch the Sunday Tale of the National Archaeological Museum dedicated to the mythical hero Theseus, on Sunday 25 November. Niki Kaparis will narrate the hero's exploits and exploits, while Yiannis Pseimadas will accompany the narration with the sounds of percussion and stringed musical instruments.. Subsequently, the museum's archaeologist Maria Selekou will undertake to connect the myth with archaeology, through the slide show, using observational material and dramatization with the help of a maze.

Children learn the art of paper origami

On Sunday 29 February at the National Archaeological Museum
The teacher will introduce the children to the art of paper "Origami". – visual artist of Origami artDimitris Dallason Sunday 19 February at the National Archaeological Museum. Dimitris Dalas, through a slide show, will talk and show how since the 6th century Chinese and Japanese have been folding paper making gifts for their children. Then, under his guidance, an art workshop will take place and the children will create their own work. The program is aimed at children aged 8-12 years and is provided free of charge. Participation declarations are required.
