Maybeshewill in Greece, for two concerts

Catch The Soap Productions and Lovelight Productions present the British post rock band «Maybeshewill», who will give two concerts in our country Friday 21 September in Athens and on Saturday 22 September, in Thessaloniki.

Explosive guitar outbursts, enchanting interludes and exciting electronic interventions, in a sound that transcends manners with ease, offering a much-needed breath of creative freshness to the modern instrumental rock scene. Οι Maybeshewill, the outstanding British post rock quartet, they are coming for two unique appearances in Athens and Thessaloniki, on the An Club and Eightball Club stages, on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 September respectively.

Formed it 2005 by Robin Southby and John Helps, they prove from their very first steps their special musical vision and their uncompromising philosophy. The special mix of heavy guitar rock, electronic beats, and cinematic music composition is clearly captured on the band's stunning debut “Japanese Spy Transcript” – a debut that will manage to catch the eyes of fans of the fresh post rock sound worldwide from the first moment. The record will be released by Robot Needs Home, the indie label founded by Maybeshewill themselves with the sole purpose of supporting the Leicester scene - from which they emerged - true to their sense of camaraderie and DIY ethos.

The sequel will be just as dynamic as his "Not for Want of Trying". 2008 to emerge from the (extremely selective) Radio 1 of the BBC as album of the week and with last year's “I Was Here For A Moment, Then I Was Gone” establishing them as one of the most important names in instrumental/post rock/electronica, Maybeshewill will continue to grow their already large fanbase with joint appearances alongside equally important names in the post rock scene, but also with world sold out tours in Europe and Asia. Almost three years after their unforgettable appearance on Greek soil, the unique Maybeshewill hopefully return to Athens and Thessaloniki on 4 and 5 May respectively to show us the most mature and creative side of their career.
