VW reveals even more details about the new CC (ex Passat CC) at an event, held in Nice, France, shortly before its sales start in Europe.
VW presented the updated Passat CC for the first time (Coupe-Comfort), which will now be called CC, in November at the Los Angeles show. The German brand though, just before the new sports sedan went on sale organized an event that took place in Nice, France. There, the specialist press enjoyed all the new features of the new CC, which has new lighting bodies with the LEDs integrated inside, rear LED lights, new bumpers, chrome details and a new trunk design.
Inside the CC we find an almost new image, while VW states that it will have rich standard equipment, which among others will be the fatigue detection system, the active head restraints, the new sound system, as well as the bi-xenon lights. As for optional equipment, can the customer select the lane change alert system, dead center detection system, massage seats and more.
Engines and gearboxes for Europe will remain unchanged. So, the CC is fitted with the TSI range (160, 210 and 300 horses) and TDI(140 and 170 horses) engines. It is worth noting that the 2-liter TDI performance engine 140 of horsepower with the manual 6-speed gearbox has a consumption of just 4,7 lt./100 km. End, all TDI engines will have the Stop/Start system as standard which further reduces consumption.
