THEATER : "Innocent or Guilty"

“Ladies and gentlemen! My name is John Cartwright and I will be the presiding judge in the case for which you have been selected as a jury! In this trial, a case of murder will be investigated…”.
The great success of "Innocent or Guilty" at the Katia Dandoulakis theater continues this year at the Kappa theater from the beginning of November every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The ultimate court drama of British "stormy" playwright Geoffrey Archer, that "stirred up" with its plot comes to life on the stage of the Theatre, experiencing great success for the 2nd consecutive year.
A series of daily family events between 2 of friends and their spouses ultimately lead to betrayal and murder, weaving the ultimate court drama and making the public a witness against the power games and the whirlwind of love of the protagonists who are ultimately led to impasses that determine their fate.
A doctor is accused of murdering his wife, to inherit her property. His best friend, well-known lawyer, undertakes his defense. A doctor claims that she had an affair with the doctor and that she was with him on the night of the murder. The evidence of his guilt is just as strong as the evidence of his innocence, and viewers are left to decide, voting during the performance on the innocence or guilt of the accused. And of course depending on the result of the vote, a different development of the performance follows, transforming the play into an interactive entertainment option, while at the same time the criterion of autonomous will is tested.
"Innocent or Guilty" by Jeffrey Archer, a truly interactive show that has already won over the London audience and is "introduced" to us in Athens by Kostas Spyropoulos, translating, directing and starring, it is a play, where the protagonist finally proves to be love and its different faces. And it is love that sometimes appears peaceful and sometimes stormy, but always dangerous. Especially for those who defy its dynamics.

Ο Δρ. Καρλ Γιουνγκ αναλαμβάνει ως ασθενή του την ανισόρροπη, αλλά γοητευτική Σαμπίνα Σπιλράιν. Όπλο του Ελβετού γιατρού είναι η μέθοδος του δασκάλου του, του πασίγνωστου Σίγκμουντ Φρόιντ. Ο Γιουνγκ παραδίνεται στον πόθο για την ασθενή του και μια παθιασμένη σχέση ξεκινά. Παράλληλα όμως, ο Φρόιντ προχωρά ένα βήμα παραπέρα, εισχωρώντας ακόμα βαθύτερα στο μυαλό της νεαρής γυναίκας. Οι δύο κορυφαίοι ψυχαναλυτές θα οδηγηθούν σταδιακά σε μία ρήξη με απρόβλεπτες συνέπειες.

THEATER : "The Merchants of the Nations"

Αύριο κάνουν Πρεμιέρα «Οι έμποροι των Εθνών»
Για πρώτη φορά ανεβαίνει στο θεατρικό σανίδι το δεύτερο μυθιστόρημα του Αλέξανδρου Παπαδιαμάντη «Οι έμποροι των Εθνών» που θα κάνει αύριο πρεμιέρα στο θέατρο «Αντιγόνη Βαλάκου».
Το έργο ανεβαίνει με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση 100 χρόνων από το θάνατο του συγγραφέα. Τη δραματουργική επεξεργασία έχει κάνει η Έλσα Ανδριανού, η σκηνοθεσία και μουσική είναι του του Θοδωρή Αμπαζή και παίζει η θεατρική ομάδα ΟΠΕRA .
Τον ιστορικό καμβά του έργου συνθέτουν η ενετική κατοχή των νησιών του Αιγαίου λίγο πριν από τη σύγκρουση Ανατολής και Δύσης, ενώ κύριο θέμα του αποτελεί το ερωτικό πάθος στην πιο ακραία του μορφή. Κεντρική ηρωίδα η Αυγούστα που εγκαταλείπει τον σύζυγό της Ιωάννη Μούχρα και ακολουθεί το βενετό Μάρκο Σανούτο, ορμώμενη από μια ακατανίκητη ερωτική επιθυμία που τελικά την οδηγεί στο θάνατο.
Οι παραστάσεις θα διαρκέσουν έως την Κυριακή 18 December.

The new Defender is evolving

After Land Rover revealed to us in Frankfurt the DC100 Concept which will influence the next Defender, in Los Angeles she brought a revamped version of her original.
Land Rover continues to experiment with the new generation Defender, as the new version of the DC100 Concept revealed at the Los Angeles show. We first saw the model in Frankfurt and in its new form it has new rims 20 inches with Cooper all-terrain tires, new pale blue paint and a Candy Weiss roof.
Land Rover's chief designer, Mr Gerry McGovern, who unveiled the new DC100 Concept in Los Angeles revealed that the prototype in question may not be representative of the shape of the next Defender and said: "It's one of the plans we're considering at the moment".

First Festival of Young Writers

The National Book Center (THERE)/Ministry of Culture & of Tourism are organizing for the first time in Greece the Festival of Young Writers and "throwing the spotlight" on the potential of the country's young writers to present their work, to discuss current events and dialogue with the other arts; an optimistic message of confidence for the future in the difficult times the country is experiencing.
Under the motto "We have a lot to say. Let's read, to discover, let's see…» the Festival takes place on 9 and 10 December 2011, at the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation, in collaboration with the network of three similar European festivals (Mantua, Berlin and Wales).
Prose writers and poets, aged up to 35 years (born from 1976 and so on) and with a book title or two on their resume, recommended by reputable literary journals, to take part in the Festival through a "Reading Marathon" and present their work to new generations, and not only. Three of them, who will be selected by a special jury, they will receive a six-month scholarship (financial aid) for their next creative steps.
Alongside, at the premises of the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation, in collaboration with the Foundation and Metropolitan Histories/Metropolis a "dialogue" with other forms of art will take place: οι συνεκτικοί δεσμοί θα διαφανούν μέσα από μια σειρά εκδηλώσεων όπως συζητήσεις στρογγυλής τράπεζας, θεατρικά, μουσικά και χορευτικά δρώμενα, προβολές ταινιών μικρού μήκους, εικαστικές εκθέσεις και χάπενινγκ, laboratories, διαγωνισμοί κ.λπ.

Mini: After the Coupe, the Roadster
