The Nissan Hi-Cross Concept in Geneva

The Japanese company has a new crossover prototype ready to be presented at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show that hints at the shape of the new X-Trail.

A teaser photo, which does not reveal much, of a new concept model was released today by the Japanese company. As she informs us, this is the Hi-Cross Concept, a model expected to continue the tradition of the brand, but also its existing range of crossover models. Company goal, certainly, is the continuation of the success of its two mainstream "SUV" proposals, the Juke and the Qashqai. On the tried and tested, but also completely successful, this recipe will also "step" on the new Hi-Cross Concept, which of course, in a slightly different form, will be the successor of our well-known X-Trail. In the planning of the Japanese Nissan is to present the successor of this successful SUV around the beginning of 2013.

Despite the fact that officially there is no further information (the Japanese company refers us to 6 Of March, when the new Hi-Cross Concept will be fully revealed at the Geneva Motor Show), we already know that in terms of design, this new proposal from the Japanese will follow a path similar to the Qashqai. In terms of external dimensions, in any case, expectations should move to the levels of traditional middle-class family models, except of course the height of the body and the distance of the floor from the ground. Something similar, certainly, with the "logic" to be followed in the form of the car inside and out, we also expect in the field of road characteristics, since the new Hi-Cross will clearly have an asphalt orientation and character. In the field of mechanical parts, as happened in the past, two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions are expected, while it remains unknown what will be the available mechanical units that will move them. However, it is not excluded, beyond Nissan's 2-litre diesels, to see under the hood of the new X-Trail and their turbocharged petrol engine 1,6 liters of the little Juke.

But for more information, wait until early next week, so the new Hi-Cross Concept will be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

MTX: His Mitsubishi Colt 2005

Given the reliability of the Mitsubishi and the complete character of the Colt, the small Japanese model is one of the best choices on the used market as well.

Also in such conditions, the steering system gives the driver an artificial feel, element that affects the desire to move at a fast pace.

Interior - Spaces
Inside, the image is modern and characterized as particularly youthful. The plastics show a good fit, while the build quality in general ranges at good levels for the category. The spaces are sufficient for the transport needs of four passengers without making concessions, while the versatile character is expressed through the possibility of the uneven rear seat being slid along the longitudinal axis as well as the inclination of its backrest being adjusted. At the same time, the luggage compartment of the 220 liters amounts to 315 liters by moving the seat and at 645 liters with its removal.

Resale value
The resale value of the model is at good levels, which is mainly due to the reliability of Mitsubishi.

Value for Money
Colt's price-value ratio is good 1,1 due to the good level of equipment it had 2005 in the basic version.

The racing Subaru BRZ GT300

Recently, the racing version of the Subaru BRZ hit its... tires for the first time at Fuji Speedway, the famous track of Japan, for the first tests.
The Subaru BRZ GT300 is the racing and naturally wilder version of the Subaru BRZ, which made its first appearance on Japan's famous circuit, the Fuji Speedway. After the unveiling of the new Mercedes AMG car, the German brand has published the first photos of the fast version of the SL-Class, the SL63 AMG.
The Mercedes SL63 AMG debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year and is the most powerful Mercedes in the SL range. Let's remember that its form is completely new and seems to have received aesthetic influences, from both the smaller SLK and the SLS AMG. Its shape is overall more square than before, while the mask and the front lighting bodies make an impression. The interior is also beautiful, where, depending on the version, the skin, aluminum and wood are harmoniously combined.

From a mechanical point of view, equipped with their M157 twin-turbo V8 5,5 liter affords 537 horsepower. The weight of the car has been reduced by 125 kilos compared to its predecessor, since mainly aluminum and magnesium have been used as construction materials. The 0-100 km/h reaches them in just 4,3 δλ.(4,2 with the additional AMG upgrade package). End, its official presentation will take place in March at the Geneva exhibition.

In each case, we remind you that the new A3 will also have 5 doors in its range (Sportback) publications, while we will see it in both convertibles and sedans, based on last year's prototype A3 Concept.

From a technological point of view, we have emphasized again that the new Audi A3 will "step" on a completely new platform that was developed for more than one model in the circles of the VW group, called MQB.

As far as car engines are concerned, it's a little early to draw firm conclusions. However, unexpectedly, at the base of the A1 range we will see the new TFSI 1,2 liter, with performance 105 horses. Immediately after, he will follow 1,4 TFSI possibly in upgraded performance 130 and 160 horses. At 2 liters, there will be again the 2,0 TFSI with performance between 210 and 250 horses, while for the top S3, the power will again be at 265 horsepower. A very important element is Audi's intention to bring the Start system as standard in all engines&Stop, so as to further ensure lower emissions and limited consumption. The diesel engines will be similarly developed in the new A3 1,6 and 2,0 liter.

Abarth has revealed several details about its new creation that was built after the collaboration with the leading company in the automotive field, the Maserati. The fruit of this collaboration was named Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati and will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March. From a mechanical point of view, will keep the familiar T-Jet 1,4 l. which will yield 180 horsepower, while it will be combined with the Competizione automatic transmission with paddles on the steering wheel.
