The New Lancia Ypsilon

source:www.zougla.gr

A new era begins for Lancia from... today, as the availability of the new Ypsilon generation begins. The Italian model with the Greek name is already in the 20 authorized representatives of the new importing company and awaits prospective drivers, to see and drive it. This is a model that comes at the right time in our country. And this is because the category it belongs to is now the most popular and is constantly gaining ground.

Starting with the dimensions (3,8 meters), it's not the one that won't... fit on the roads but the car that can move both in and out of big cities. From now on, the three-door body became a five-door, so it may well be bought by those who are looking for either a small car with design or those who now want a... small but with spaces for the whole family. The continuation concerns the engines, a very important element nowadays where everyone is looking for solutions to reduce their expenses.

No road tax

The new Ypsilon generation is available with two gasoline engines and one diesel engine, also known in Greece. Specifically, the prospective buyer can choose the engine of 875 κ.εκ. with them 85 horses but also him 1.2 with them 69. In the first case, the owner pays no road tax at all, since CO2 emissions are below the 100 g/km. Something similar is also true in the case of the diesel version 1.3 liters and of 95 horses, with fuel consumption in this case being, according to the factory, στα 3,8 liters per 100 kilometers. We also have fuel economy in the petrol versions, with her 1.2 to "burn" 4,9 l, while the edition 0.9 consumes 4.2 liters in 100 kilometers. In all three cases, the Start system & Stop (the engine shuts off when the car is stationary) is standard equipment.

In the climate of the time

In the short road experience we had with the car during the press presentation, what we were left with was the performance of the diesel versions and 0.9, as is consumption, which we saw fluctuating at low levels. Driving the new Ypsilon is clearly better than the upcoming generation, while internally the quality of the materials has been upgraded. The instrument panel has remained in the center, but what was not added were the spaces for small items, which we would like to see more of. The first picture was very good and, despite the fact that we are experiencing an unprecedented crisis, we believe that Ypsilon moves with the climate of the time. Small car, five doors, small engines, low consumption, zero traffic fees even design.

Ypsilon's starting price is the 12.488 euro, but due to the... newness of the model and also the new principle for the importing company there will be a limited number of cars with 10.500 euro, in the event that the customer makes use of the measure of withdrawal.

The Italian brand released photographers and technical specs for the new MV Agusta Brutale 675, where it is essentially a stripped down version of the MV Agusta F3 675 without the fairings. At the heart of the motorcycle is its three-cylinder engine 675 etc. which yields 113 horses at 12.000 s.a.l and 71 Nm of torque in 10.600 rpm while weighing 163 kilos ¨dry¨.

Regarding the regional ones, standard equipment will include a fully adjustable Marzoochi front fork, gold Brembo monoblock calipers front and and radial Nissin rear while priced at 9.000 British pounds makes it the most affordable MV Agusta currently on the market, and is expected to "hit" a portion of Triumph Street Triple buyers.

Choosing a used motorcycle..

source: http://www.mototriti.gr

Choosing a used motorcycle requires very careful checking on various points. One of them is the control of plastic parts, for any scratches and imperfections.

The check must be careful in every part of the motorcycle and it is good that it is also done by an expert. However, there are also some quick checks you can perform yourself, to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Here's what to look for in used model plastic parts, be it a motorcycle or a scooter.

• If the plastics of the motorcycle are scratched or dull, they definitely spoil the image of the model and betray that it did not receive special attention from the previous owner.

•If the motorcycle looks painted it should make you suspicious.

• The same should happen if it is full of stickers that usually hide scratches.

•Look for any misalignment and squeaks in the plastic and broken flash mounts.

New Opel Astra OPC

Source:http://www.autotriti.gr

Opel has released the first official photos of the new Astra OPC. The explosive small and medium of 280 of horses stands out and really captivates with its dynamism.

After the original version that Opel showed us some time ago, the Astra OPC has now been officially presented, aiming to dominate the small and medium GTI sub-segment. As it seems, Opel designers have once again done an excellent job, presenting a highly dynamic design set with a very dynamic profile which, however, does not deviate from the prescribed and accepted frameworks.

But apart from the design, the new Astra OPC also has a lot of technology, the main purpose of which is to enhance its sporty character. We are referring to the front suspension (High Performance Strut) which was designed exclusively for the OPC version but also on the electrically controlled FlexRide technology chassis. This allows the driver to choose, with the push of a button, Sport and OPC settings depending on the pace it wants to move. also, on the front axle of the new "hot" Opel model we also find a locking differential which ensures that both wheels have the maximum possible traction even in difficult road conditions. Still, interesting is the fact that the braking system of the Astra OPC has been developed by the well-known company Brembo and is clearly more strengthened than that in the simple versions of the small and medium Opel.

Engine 280 of horses – Fire and laurel….

The top and sportiest version in the range of the new Opel Astra features a 2-litre direct injection turbo engine with power 280 horsepower and torque that touches the 400 Nm. With this given, the top speed of the car reaches the 250 km / h. Soon we will know more detailed technical data about the new OPC (B.C. accelerations), which is the fastest Astra we've ever seen. We remind you that the OPC will compete with commercially important models such as the VW Golf GTI.

Peugeot 208

Το Peugeot 208 is his successor 207, of a model that went into production the 2006. Nevertheless, lately the French model has been hard to compete with the German supermini Volkswagen Polo, a model new to the market, but also the Fiat Punto. Two cars extremely popular in the European market and specifically in the B category.

According to the first data published along with the first photos of the new French model, the 208 is more compact than 207. So according to these figures, its length reaches the 3,975 meters which means it is shorter by 70 millimeters from the origin 207, which is long 4,045 meters. The most important element, however, is that Peugeot engineers managed to reduce the weight by 110 kilos. An element if anything impressive and imposing.

Peugeot sales 208 will launch in the European market next spring. In the range of engines there will initially be two petrol and five diesel versions. The engines will be included in the gasoline engine base 1.0 l. and 1.2 liter with a fuel economy combination of 4,3 liters in 100 km.

Its exterior design 208, which is available in three-door and five-door versions, has borrowed many stylistic elements from the latest concept models of the French brand, like the HX1. As for the interior, it is distinguished by the multi-level dashboard that has a prominent central console that houses a large infotainment screen

Ecological Tip: Prudent use of the air conditioner

source: http://www.autotriti.gr

Undoubtedly, the car's air conditioner when running increases fuel consumption. By minimizing its use we save up to 20% from our shipping costs.

Every use of the car's electrical and electronic applications burdens it with energy, more or less. The air conditioner is quite burdensome and it is advisable to operate it only when absolutely necessary. Its use in the cabin with initial temperatures above the 25 degrees Celsius and especially in traffic jams burdens the consumption by at least 20%. Naturally, it is not right to operate the air conditioner with the windows open, however, it's good, before we use the air conditioning, let's open the windows for a while, so that fresh air enters the cabin.

The temperature difference that must exist inside the cabin in relation to the environment should not exceed them 10 degrees Celsius. In this way, we avoid continuous operation of the air conditioner.

End, it is good to remind the mechanic to adjust the operation of the cooling and heating system at least 2 times a year. Any malfunction of it will again lead you to increased consumption
