New Audi A3 Sportback – A winning recipe

Of course, this will not mean that the 5-door A3 will not resemble station wagons again, and this will be helped by the large third rear side window. It is also very important to mention that the body is again expected to lengthen by 50-70 mm., so as to again offer a larger trunk than the 365 liters of the luggage compartment of the 3-door.

It retains the same TFSI and TDI engines
In the field of engines, the new Audi A3 Sportback will retain the same engines as the 3-door new A3. So in the range from the side of petrol engines, we will first see him 1,4 TFSI of 122 horses and its new version 1,8 TFSI engine with them 180 horsepower. In terms of diesel, first only their 2-liter TDI will be available 150 horses (average consumption: 4,1 l. / 100 km.), while there will be a new version of it 1,6 TDI, with very low fuel consumption (3,8 l. / 100 km.) and CO2 emissions only 99 gr / km. All that remains now, is to be confirmed by Audi and the addition to the range and of 1,2 TSI petrol engine, which is expected to gather the most interest in our country.

Interior
No changes, the interior of the new Audi A3 Sportback will be carried over almost entirely from the 3-door model, maintaining a subtly sporty style and now referencing the interior of the Audi A1. But also in terms of quality, expected to see the same, top materials for class data, with the dash being lined with foam plastic and the rest of the parts being hard-to-the-touch materials with a very solid fit and finish. As is also the case with the 3-door Audi A3, the new generation of the Audi MMI infotainment system, it will also be available on the new A3 Sportback, offering more usability and even better information.

C. Kafetzopoulos: "We are black everywhere"
