Yamaha dominated the second day of MotoGP testing

Yamaha's factory rider duo, namely Ben Spies and Jorge Lorenzo, they completed the second day, Wednesday of the tests in Sepang at the top of the charts - but in the absence of the Hondas.

In the first two days all the drivers had a problem with the grip on the Sepang circuit. This is primarily due to the fact that the track surface was very dirty, from the car races that had been held there just a week earlier. But it is also due to Bridgestone's new single tires with a less rigid frame, but which contribute to the creation of chatter, i.e. high-frequency bounces of the rear wheels, especially when braking to enter a turn.

"Century" Rolls-Royce goes under the hammer

One of the rarest cars ever built by Rolls-Royce is going under the hammer and the price, as is likely, will be asked to pay the buyer reaches the 2 million. British pounds!

Its official model name 1912, is a 'Double Pullman Limousine' although it became known as a 'Corgi', and belongs to the "Silver Ghost" series.

Τα μουσικά φεστιβάλ σηκώνουν αυλαία σε Θεσσαλονίκη και Πάτρα

THE BURGER PROJECT

Η Θεσσαλονίκη και η Πάτρα σηκώνουν την αυλαία των φετινών μουσικών φεστιβάλ. Η νέα ελληνική σκηνή εκπροσωπείται επάξια σχεδόν σε όλα της τα είδη ακόμη και την ρέγκε που για να είμαστε ειλικρινείς στην χώρα μας δεν γνωρίζει και στιγμές δόξας. Όσον αφορά στις συμμετοχές μεταξύ άλλων παίρνουν μέρος οι Locomondo, Imam Baildi, Kostis Maravejia, φιλοδοξώντας να μεταφέρουν την ενέργεια τους από την σκηνή στο κοινό. Ολα αυτά στο Spring Reggae Festival και στο Ark Festival.

Χρονικά προηγείται, το πρώτο reggae festival της άνοιξης που θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τετάρτη 7 Μαρτίου στο Eightball club, in Thessaloniki. Το πρόγραμμά του περιλαμβάνει προβολή ντοκιμαντέρ για την reggae καθώς επίσης και μουσική από τους «δικούς μας» FYAH FIST και τους Βερολινέζους ILLBILY HITEC.

Αναλυτικά το Spring reggae Festival:

Studio One Story
Ένα 3ωρο ντοκιμαντέρ για το θρυλικό Studio One, το σημείο 0 του Κίνγκστον της Τζαμάικα και της reggae. Συνεντεύξεις από σημαντικούς καλλιτέχνες όπως οι Horace Andy, Alton Elis, Ken Boothe, Sugar Minott κ. a. Εκτενής αναφορά γίνεται και στους καλλιτέχνες που ξεκίνησαν την καριέρα τους από το «One» όπως ο Bob Marley and the Wailers, o Alton Ellis, The Heptones, Ken Boothe, The Skatalites, Burning Spear κ. The. Mr. Το φιλμ επισκέπτεται επίσης μέρη σταθμούς στην Τζαμάικα όπως το Trenchtown’s old Dancehalls, το Alpha School, το Tuff Gong studios and Pressing Plant, την Orange street και όλα τα μέρη που αναφέρονται στην διάρκεια των συνεντεύξεων. Επίσης υπάρχουν σπάνια videos από παραστάσεις, συμβάντα, μουσική πριν από το 1960 καθώς και την επίσκεψη του Haile Selassie στην Τζαμάικα.

FYAH FIST ft DJ ΑΜΟΚ and MAGMA DEE
Το συγκρότημα από την Θεσσαλονίκη που έχει κερδίσει άξια μια θέση στην reggae σκηνή της χώρας θα είναι εκεί για να ανεβάσουν την ατμόσφαιρα με ragamuffin ρίμες μελωδίες σε απευθείας σύνδεση με Τζαμάικα.

ILLBILY HITEC
Από το Βερολίνο με αγάπη, ένα από τα πιο ανερχόμενα electro reggae συγκροτήματα της Ευρώπης. Δύο παραγωγοί και ένας drummer δημιουργούν τις απόλυτες reggae electronics, combining influences of dub, breakbeat μελωδίες.

ARK FESTIVAL
Η Πάτρα μπαίνει δυναμικά στο επίκεντρο των μουσικών δρώμενων και υποδέχεται το πρώτο ARK Festival του 2012. Μετά από τις πολύ πετυχημένες εξορμήσεις του στην Αθήνα και στην Θεσσαλονίκη, τo ARK Festival εξαπλώνεται και στην υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα, ξεκινώντας από την πόλη της Πάτρας την Παρασκευή 16 and on Saturday 17 Μαρτίου στην Ακτή Δυμαίων.

On Friday 16 Μαρτίου από τη σκηνή του ARK Festival θα παρελάσουν οι Maraveyas Ilegal, The Burger Project και οι B – Sides, ενώ το Σάββατο 17 Μαρτίου θα εμφανιστούν οι Locomondo, οι Imam Baildi και οι Sazman.

Ενάντια στις παρούσες συνθήκες το ARK Festival, όπως σημειώνουν οι διοργανωτές του διατηρεί την τιμή του εισιτηρίου του σε χαμηλά επίπεδα Τα εισιτήρια του ARK Festival θα αρχίσουν να προπωλούνται την Δευτέρα 5 Μαρτίου στο DISCOVER, στο CITY CAFÉ και στο Ευοί Ευάν. The first 500 εισιτήρια κοστίζουν 12 euro, ενώ μετά την εξάντληση αυτού του αριθμού, αλλά και στο ταμείο τις ημέρες του φεστιβάλ, θα πωλούνται στα 15 euro. Το διήμερο εισιτήριο κοστίζει 20 euro.

Εκτός από την Πάτρα, πολύ σύντομα το ARK Festival θα μεταφερθεί και σε άλλες πόλεις της Ελλάδας που θα ανακοινωθούν μέσα στο μήνα Μάρτιο.
