Pemy Zouni at Badminton with tango and zeibekiko

On Saturday, he presents the show "17. 37΄Πειραιάς – The Mouth»

Greece and Argentina meet in a port. On a journey through time. Six faces, each with their own history and memories, with his partings and dreams. Dominant theme, the waiting. Their weapons, the song and the dance. Tango and zeibeki, ball and tzakarera. Carnival and demonstration. Pictures of him 30, of 70 and his 2012. Everything sweetly tangles and unites them.

This is how the theatrical production that culminates the actions of the Tango Acropolis Festival unfolds on Saturday 8 September entitled "17. 37"Piraeus - La Boca" at the Badminton Theatre.

"It is a theatrical performance with a lot of dancing where Greeks and Argentinians participate", says Pemy Zouni who directs and stars in the production. "I would essentially say that it is a meeting of the cultures of two countries that may be far away, but they have, many common elements. The course of Greece and Argentina in the 20th century shows many similarities. Comprehensive regimes, forbidden songs ( zeibekiko and tango), tendency to flee and cities full of immigrants. They are two countries with big hearts and unruly minds..."

The "soul" of the show are the tangeros, the community of Greeks and Argentinians who live in our country and love tango and Argentinian culture. From the end of April, the small group of core performers of the show prepares the play. A woman in a harbor waits for her lover who is a sailor to return. Based on a story of waiting, many different separation stories, of love, of dreams and hope unfold in parallel.

The direction is by Pemis Zounis and the texts are by Stelios Hatziadamidis. Assistant director is Pella Makrodimitri. They are playing: Pemy Zounis, Elena and Luis Mestre, Panis Kalofolias, Dimitris Nikolaidis, Marianna Cutulas. Marios Strofalis participates (accordion), Costas Vlachopoulos (harmonica) and the Quilombo percussion group.

What will the viewer take away from the show?; «Μια γλύκα από πράγματα που ξέρει κι αγαπάει, κι από ιστορίες που μπορεί να αναγνώρισε. Οι μνήμες “ακουμπούν”. Και βλέποντας το λιμάνι μπορεί, for example, να σου έρθει στο μυαλό “Το μινόρε της αυγής” με τη φωνή της Σωτηρίας Μπέλλου…»

Υπάρχει περίπτωση για επανάληψη της παράστασης; «Βρισκόμαστε σε συζητήσεις με το Μπουένος ΄Αιρες», απαντά η Πέμυ Ζούνη. «Θα ήθελα επίσης η παράσταση να ανέβει και στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Όλα τα ενδεχόμενα είναι ανοιχτά…»

Fiat Panda TwinAir με φυσικό αέριο!

Ακόμα μία τεχνολογική καινοτομία για τη Fiat, καθώς για πρώτη φορά ένας δικύλινδρος κινητήρας (TwinAir), καταναλώνει φυσικό αέριο (CNG). Το νέο Panda Natural Power, it is now a fact.
Εδώ και περίπου δύο δεκαετίες, η Fiat επενδύει στη χρήση φυσικού αερίου, εξελίσσοντας την τεχνολογία σε τέτοιο βαθμό, ώστε να εφαρμόζεται για πρώτη φορά, παγκοσμίως, σε δικύλινδρο μηχανικό σύνολο. Το νέο Fiat Panda 0.9 TwinAir Natural Power, is, most, γεγονός και μάλιστα στη γειτονική χώρα (όπου λειτουργούν περίπου 1000 πρατήρια, με φυσικό αέριο) έχει ήδη ξεκινήσει η εμπορική του διάθεση, με τιμές που ξεκινούν από 13.950 euro.
Με την επιλογή CNG, η ιπποδύναμη του 0.9 TwinAir μειώνεται κατά πέντε ίππους (80 from 85), αλλά η μέση κατανάλωση των 3,1 λτ./100χλμ/ώρα και οι εκπομπές CΟ2, που περιορίζονται στα 86 g/km, αποζημιώνουν, σε κάθε περίπτωση, τον οδηγό, για τη μικρή θυσία στις επιδόσεις.

Στην Ιταλία υπολογίζεται ότι με 12 euro, το ρεζερβουάρ του φυσικού αερίου, χωρητικότητας 72 liter, φουλάρει, ενώ αντίστοιχα η χωρητικότητα αυτού της βενζίνης, έχει μειωθεί στα 35 l, όπως αναπόφευκτα μείωση έχει υποστεί και ο όγκος του χώρου αποσκευών από τα 225 στα 200 l. Η τελική ταχύτητα του αυτοκινήτου είναι 170 km/h, με καύσιμο τη βενζίνη και 168 χλμ./ώρα με το CNG.

Mikis Theodorakis – Axion Esti in Herodion

The Center for the Support of Dependent Persons presents one of the most interesting artistic events of the year in Herodion on 24 September 2012.

The monumental work "Axion Esti" by Mikis Theodorakis, based on poetry by the Nobel laureate, Odysseus Elytis, will be presented under the Parthenon, accompanied by the compositions "Stabat Mater" and "Song of Ascent" by Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev, one of the most important contemporary Russian composers.

This is a unique concert, in which Greek music and history will meet the traditional and orthodox church music of Russia.

The two composers have chosen these deeply humanistic works, where art expresses religious inner spirituality.

Two countries, two cultures will be represented in this concert in which distinguished world-renowned artists will perform.

"Axion Esti" is a monument of Greek art. Its importance as well as the form of the poetic text led to the consideration of a new musical form.

The work covers the entire history of the Greek nation. "This is a small world, the great"… from Genesis to the prophetic vision of the sufferings imposed on us.

It is divided into three main parts: "The Genesis", "The Passions", "Doxasticon", while in its internal structure there are also three elements – the narrative, the hymn and the chorus.

The Narrator reads the prose text, the Psalmist in the hymns and the Layman in the choral sections.

Soloist: Marios Frangoulis (Folk singer), Dimitris Kavrakos (Chanter).
Narrator: Stavros Zalmas

Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev, he is the most widely performed of all Russian composers.

His ability to complement the music with a deep religious content, to unite different cultures, to express profound meanings using simple and understandable language makes him unique among modern composers.

His music resonates with people regardless of background, the language, their political orientation and even their religious beliefs.

The sacred texts, including the gospels, of psalms, orthodox liturgical texts as well as medieval Latin poetry, they become a source of constant inspiration for the composer, who is distinguished both for his excellent craftsmanship, as well as for his spiritual insight.

His works that will be presented at the concert are::

The Mother was standing soprano, mezzo orchestra and choir, Song of Ascent, Symphony for orchestra and chorus, one aria from the Matthew Passion and one aria from the Christmas Oratorio with soloist: Svetlana Kasyan and Marita Paparizou

69the Venice Festival: Live or die; Here's the question

Δεν έχουν περάσει πολλά χρόνια από τότε που ο θάνατος της επί 17 χρόνια σε κωματώδη κατάσταση Ελουάνα Ενγκλάρο είχε συγκλονίσει την ιταλική κοινή γνώμη. Τον Φεβρουάριο του 2009, η Ενγκλάρο που βρισκόταν σε κώμα από το 1992, έπειτα από τροχαίο, πέθανε ενώ η Ιταλική Γερουσία συζητούσε σε έκτακτη συνεδρίαση την ψήφιση νομοσχεδίου του Σίλβιο Μπερλουσκόνι για την υποχρεωτική σίτιση των ασθενών στα νοσοκομεία.

Το αίτημα των γονιών της Ενγκλάρο που είχαν εκφράσει πολλές φορές την επιθυμία τους να μη ζήσει σε περίπτωση που πέσει σε κώμα ισοδυναμούσε με ευθανασία που είναι παράνομη στην Ιταλία. Με την υποστήριξη του Βατικανού ο Μπερλουσκόνι συνέταξε το νομοσχέδιο για την υποχρεωτική σίτιση.

Ενας από τους ανθρώπους που είχαν σοκαριστεί από την υπόθεση Ενγκλάρο ήταν και η έφηβη – then –  κόρη του Μάρκο Μπελόκιο. Συζητώντας μαζί της, ο ιταλός σκηνοθέτης κατέληξε στην ιδέα μιας ταινίας που θα έθετε καυτά ζητήματα και διλήμματα όπως, εν προκειμένω, η ευθανασία. Η ταινία με τον τίτλο «Αφανής ομορφιά» (Bella addormentata) και πρωταγωνιστές τον Τόνι Σερβίλο και την Ιζαμπέλ Υπέρ, προβλήθηκε την Τετάρτη εντός διαγωνισμού στη Μόστρα και απέσπασε θερμά χειροκροτήματα

Εχοντας την υπόθεση Ελουάνα Ενγκλάρο διαρκώς στο φόντο, ο Μπελόκιο στήνει μικρές ιστορίες θανάτου που λαμβάνουν χώρα στη Ρώμη. Η πιο ενδιαφέρουσα όλων είναι εκείνη ενός γερουσιαστή (Τόνι Σερβίλο) ο οποίος ζει το ίδιο ακριβώς δράμα με τη σύζυγό του που αργοπεθαίνει από καρκίνο και είναι αποφασισμένος να ψηφίσει κατά του νομοσχεδίου.

«Δεν υπάρχει ουδετερότητα στην Τέχνη αλλά η ταινία δεν είναι και μανιφέστο» δήλωσε ο αριστερός Μάρκο Μπελόκιο που είχε θαυμάσει την μοναχική στάση του πατέρα της Ενγκλάρο και σοκαριστεί από τον τρόπο με τον οποίο χειρίστηκαν το γεγονός τα ΜΜΕ αλλά και από την πολιτική διάσταση που το ζήτημα είχε πάρει. «Θέλω να πιστεύω ότι η ταινία μου είναι σοβαρή και μη ιδεολογική και κυρίως ανοιχτή σε διαφορετικές απόψεις» συμπλήρωσε.

Ηδονοβλεπτική περιπλάνηση

Το σεξ, τα ναρκωτικά και το έγκλημα, μόνιμοι προβληματισμοί του «προκλητικού» αμερικανού σκηνοθέτη Χάρμονι Κοράιν, μαθητή του εξίσου προκλητικού (αλλά καλύτερου σκηνοθέτη) Λάρι Κλαρκ, κυριαρχούν και στην τελευταία δημιουργία του, το «Spring breakers» που προβάλλεται σήμερα Τετάρτη εντός διαγωνισμού στη Μόστρα.

Παρακολουθούμε τις περιπέτειες τεσσάρων κοριτσιών στο Μαϊάμι κατά τη διάρκεια του Spring break, ενός αμερικανικού εθίμου, σύμφωνα με το οποίο λίγο πριν από το τέλος της φοιτητικής περιόδου οι φοιτητές ξεσαλώνουν επί δυο εβδομάδες.

Ξεσάλωμα, sure, εννοούμε ότι τίποτε δεν μένει όρθιο. Τα κορίτσια πάνε προετοιμασμένα για όλα και ο φακός του Κοράιν με μια ηδονοβλεπτική διάθεση καταγράφει κάθε γραφική λεπτομέρεια δίνοντας έμφαση στα οπίσθια και στήθη νέων κοριτσιών. Τόσο λυσσαλέα κινηματογράφηση γυμνής σάρκας μόνον από βαθιά στερημένο μπορείς να την περιμένεις.

Το ενδιαφέρον στην ταινία είναι το καστ της. Ο Κοράιν χρησιμοποίησε ηθοποιούς στενά συνδεδεμένους με εφηβικές ταινίες όπως η τραγουδίστρια Σελίνα Γκόμεζ και η Ασλεϊ Μπένσον αλλά και τον Τζέιμς Φράνκο στον ρόλο ενός ράπερ εγκληματία του Μαϊάμι που παίρνει υπό την προστασία του τις τέσσερις κοπέλες.

Λίνα Σακκά – Μάρκος Καραμάνης : They baptized their son

Τον οκτώ μηνών γιο της βάφτισε πριν λίγες μέρες η Λίνα Σακκά. Εκείνη και ο σύντροφός της, Μάρκος Καραμάνης, προτίμησαν το μυστήριο να γίνει σε κλειστό κύκλο, παρουσία λίγων φίλων και συγγενών.

Η βάφτιση έγινε, όπως αναφέρει το περιοδικό Hello, στην Ιερά Μονή Πεντέλης, με νονές τις δυο ξαδέρφες της γνωστής ηθοποιού, Ειρήνη και Σταυρούλα Σακκά.

«Δεν έχω ξανανιώσει στη ζωή μου αυτό που ένιωσα. Είναι σαν να ξαναγεννήθηκε ένα κομμάτι του εαυτού μου μαζί με το παιδί. Έχω λιώσει, είμαι πολύ χαρούμενη και πολύ ευτυχισμένη» είχε δηλώσει τον περασμένο Γενάρη, λίγες μέρες μετά τη γέννηση του γιου της, η Λίνα Σακκά.
