Rogues and Gentlemen again at Pallas for 15 only performances

After being warmly applauded by forty thousand spectators for their delightful performance in the "Rogues and Gentlemen"  our loved ones Yannis Bezos and Petros Filippidis they bring back the scene of Pallas from the 20 September only for 15 representations. With them, the sparkling Katerina Papoutsakis and thirteen other actors dance and sing in a big production that fascinates and excites with airplanes, super luxury hotels, trains, cars, sandy beaches,  scams, love and above all lots and lots of laughter!!

Twelve years after their last appearance together, the leading comedy duo co-signs direction and translation, causing bursts of excitement in the audience, who enjoyed the fantastic scenery of Manolis Pantelidakis but also the 120  wonderful costumes by Vassilis Zoulias.

Crooks and Gentlemen is an action-packed musical, humor, emotion, tenderness and of course lots of laughter, an ensemble show dominated by the exuberant talent of the lead actors.

The story
Two charming matchmakers meet at a beach resort in the South of France, frequented by the rich, mature but naive ladies whom they deceive by extorting large sums of money from them.

The calm and comedic Lawrence Jameson (Yannis Bezos) gets upset, when he discovers that the gruff but efficient Freddy Benson (Petros Filippidis) gets in the way of his plans. Then they decide to face each other by making a bet: Whoever loses will have to leave the city. But seduced by the charm of the young and impressive Christine Colgate (Katerina Papoutsaki) they fall unsuspectingly into her trap.

The show is based on his big movie success 1988 "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" enjoyed by millions of viewers around the world with Steve Martin and Michael Caine in the roles of the two charming scoundrels, while afterwards it became a musical with also huge commercial and artistic success.

The shows at Pallas will last from 20 September to 7 October.

New BMW engines 1,5, valid until 224 horsepower!

A new one, promising generation of three-cylinder engines has been announced by BMW which is expected to turn things upside down, from a mechanical point of view, with the philosophy and technologies they incorporate.

With the aim of putting it into production 2013, in models that he has not clarified yet, BMW presented a new, very promising, generation of low displacement engines, petrol and diesel. Their base concerns one 1,5 TwinPower turbo with variable load control, direct injection and Valvetronic (in the gasoline versions). The share of mechanical parts in percentage 60% between petrol and diesel engines, ensures significant savings, in development and production levels, according to BMW.

Each cylinder has a capacity of approx 500 κ.εκ. designed to ensure high thermodynamic performance and quietness, smooth operation. With the aim of minimizing vibrations, a special arrangement is used, which offers, according to the company's engineers, extremely layered mode.

Specific information has not yet been released, but we do know that the petrol engine versions will yield from 121 to 224 horsepower, with 180-240 Nm of torque. The diesels, on the other side, they will provide power 82-184 horsepower and torque 225-330 Nm.

Nikos Moutsinas : "At the breakfast of ANT1 I collapsed psychologically"

Athina Economakou and Nikos Moutsinas were guests yesterday afternoon on the "For You" show of Mega Cyprus with Christiana Aristotelous, with the two revealing "unknown moments" of their lives.

In the interview, which was recorded by the Cypriot blog ShowTime-cy , Nikos Moutsinas reported: "Psychotherapy was the best gift I have given myself in recent years. And I'm still going because it's something I really need".

The host of "Tie Them" (which will premiere on 24 September by Alpha) he went on to say that he had a psychological breakdown during the period he was presenting with Katerina Zarifi on the morning of ANT1. In fact, he did not hesitate to add: "Fortunately the show stopped!».

Subsequently, was asked about his relations with Grigoris Arnautoglou and Nikos Moutsinas emphasized that they "are very good", while for Eleni Menegaki he mentioned: "There is an incredible respect and love between us".

From her side, Athena Oikonomakou revealed on the Mega Cyprus show about her children years and her father: “My father is a captain and, like a child, I couldn't tell who was coming to the house, since I saw him once every six months" and went on to say that she felt like a stranger with him, while she also mentioned that she was reactive towards her father when he was away on long trips.
