Duchess of Law: What he said to Eleni Menegaki

The Duchess of Nomiko was on the set of Eleni Menegaki at noon on Friday and talked about her collaboration with Themos Anastasiadis and how much she herself has changed in recent years 1-2 years.

For her collaboration with "ALL": "It was a challenge. Both Themos and Vangelis are big schools. I like to see how they work at work, they are two talented people. Every year I went several times as a guest, I went last year 5 times. Besides, I said that your show and that of Themos and Vangelis are two shows that you are happy to go to as a guest. When they suggested it to me I thought it was sarcasm but they told me they really want me. I didn't think much of it, I always have a great time and I accepted it".

Speaking about her role in Nikos Panagiotopoulos' film entitled “Limousine”, and the self-confidence of the woman who plays, the Duchess of Nomikou said that it is something completely different from her. “Now at last, here and 1-2 years, I claim what I want. In my friendships as well as in my romantic relationships, what I always cared about was that the other person was not sad. I made many compromises to make the other person feel better. I am very interested in the other person's well-being and many times I forgot myself. Now, Nevertheless, I see that I should be happy too, as I am".

Calendar Changes 2013 of the World Superbike

The mess that has ensued with Indian bureaucracy and the difficulties of getting the bikes into the country in time for the March 10 race, temporarily resolved according to the Italian website GPone.

Η Dorna, Italians write, acknowledging that it probably won't be able to bring racing bikes to India on 10 Of March, forced to postpone India's match for the 17 November. In other words, the second race of the season at the newly built Buddh International Circuit takes place… the final.

The race has been facing a number of obstacles for some time now, but Dorna had not found the time to deal with them. Important among them is the problem of customs regulations, which require motorcycles to be at Indian customs 15 whole days before the match, that is, the Sabbath of… Timed Trials race at Phillip Island.

The procedure also provides for the payment of a large amount as a guarantee for each motorcycle, which will be returned after months, provided that it is proved that the racing motorcycle re-exited India as it was imported!

Craze, things that is. The teams' finances are very tight and if the factory teams could cope with the temporary duties, the same is not certain for satellite or private ones.

After her decision, Dorna to avoid the outcry, it implies that the real cause is not the Indian bureaucracy, but the organization's unpreparedness to set up and execute a world-class match.

However, moving the Indian round burdens the teams' budget anyway. According to the original design, India's match would be played after Australia's, being a stopover on the return journey to Europe.

Now the Teams have to transport all their equipment to Australia, to return en masse to Europe and in November to "migrate" again with women and children to India for the last round of the year.

All this, when Dorna's main priority is to reduce the cost of racing… Somewhere Mr. Ezpeletta got his feet tangled.

People's participation in November may also prove to be a problem, as 3 weeks before the Indian F1 race is held at the same Budhh International circuit. Many fear that Indian viewers do not have the income to watch 2 world class racing in a month and this will likely come at the expense of WSBK.

However, this is not the only problem of the World Superbike this year. Certainly, the traditional race in Brno, Czech Republic will no longer be held, since his father Karel Abraham, owner of the track, he preferred to make it available for a race of the newly created Central European Speed Championship!

Teams from the Czech Republic are participating, Italy, Germany, Slovakia and Hungary. After Abraham's decision to support the Central European races, Brno is excluded from the WSBK calendar until 2015. This is reported by the German-language website Speedweek.

Finally, the Portuguese match in Portimao is also doubtful, as in order to be held it will have to be granted by the local Government, something unlikely given the poor economic situation in Iberia.

Another factor against funding is Portimao's location. It is located in the Algarve coastal region, already very developed touristically, so it has little to offer in terms of visitors to the area.

Theseus and Ariadne in Bull Island at the Badminton Theatre

The Badminton Theatre presents the children's show "Theseus and Ariadne on the island of Taurus" Is the motto of the 16th Spare Parts Bazaar 26 January – 28 April 2013.

Theseus and Ariadne on the Island of the Bulls, the first Greek children's theater production to stage Badminton, is a show that combines the spectacular with the educational character of ancient Greek myths.

The show tells the story of the mythical hero Theseus, son of King Aegeus and founder of Athens. Theseus, after breathtaking feats, travels to Crete and, with the help of the Gods and the beautiful Ariadne, defeats the Minotaur. The plot is riveting: all the Greek mythology - heroes participate in the adventure, mortals, wonderful but also terrible supernatural beings and of course the Olympian Gods.  From work to work and from city to city, knitwear is woven, hatred, suffering, but also friendships and loves and above all love! Battles languish on the road of Theseus, storms, mermaids – the adventures for true heroes never end.

Palaces parade on stage, seas, fortresses, ships, labyrinths, mermaids, bulls – bull eating –  gods emerging from the bowels of the earth, or fall from the sky, heroes, mortals, bright but also dark supernatural beings!

The text is signed by the acclaimed poet Stratis Paschalis.  The direction and choreography is by award-winning choreographer Sofia Spyratou. The original score was composed by one of the most remarkable young composers, who stood out through Schoolwave, Apollo Retsos. The imposing sets and costumes were designed by the always imaginative Manolis Pantelidakis, who created an impressive visual world, which gives the spectacle special, unforgettable authenticity. The size and quality of the show ensure, also, the Badminton Theater and Michalis Adams who signs the production.

More than twenty talented artists – aerial acrobats, actors, singers,  μουσικοί¬, some of whom are invited from abroad especially for this production – give flesh and bones to the legend.

The show stars one of the most important actors of the younger generation, Yannis Stankoglou, in the role of Theseus. With him the: Electra Nikolouzou and Georgina Paleothodorou. They also participate (in alphabetical order): Anna Athanasiadis, Alexandros Keivanais, Amalia Kosmas, Alexandros Laskaratos, Chloe Mantzari, Jeff Marawi, Yanna Medvedeva, George Pelagias, Chris Radanov, Alain Rivero Rodriguez, Yannis Smeros, Ivan Svitailo, Angeliki Trombouki, Alberto Feis, Rania Fovou, Iove Fragatou, Evi Hatzakis et al.

Theseus and Ariadne in Bull Island is a show that marks a new concept for children's theater, in a production equal to all the great shows hosted at the Badminton Theatre.
The archetypal Greek mythology and the rich, impressive sight for children are perceived as a top quality and priority educational process – especially in an age of emerging extremes – that the emphasis on reasonable moderation taught by classical education is vital.  Because the play talks about the meeting of two different cultures: on the one hand the measure and reason of Athens and on the other the mysticism and fist of the Minoan sea rule. The two cultures open a dialogue and get to know each other, conveying an important message to children.

The show is perfect for all ages!
