"The Voice 1" closed in May, but two months later, preparations have begun for 'The Voice 2', with the pre auditions to do… premiere!And maybe the coaches a while ago didn't answer to the question if we will see them (and) in the second season of the music show, but it seems that they found it with ANT1, they said yes, and so they will give it “present” and on "The Voice 2".

Entering the courtyard of Herodion, you didn't see enough people. I wondered if the Greeks "forgot" the size of Nana Mouschouri and if the concert would be crowded.
But what was happening was that the eagerness of the Greeks to hear this great singer was so, so that - contrary to what we are used to as a people- they had come to the ancient theater much earlier.
The Herodion is suffocatingly full, with brilliant personalities honoring the great performer with their presence. Applause before he appeared, as if they want to welcome her.
And with what appeared in the marble "frame" of Herod, he was applauded for about two minutes by a standing audience. Yes, the Greeks adore Nana Mouschouri who brought Greekness to the ends of the earth.

Kostas Filippoglou - puts on Sophocles' Philoctetes (409 e.g.), starring Michael Marmarinos, Konstantinos Markoulakis and Emilios Cheilakis.
The show goes on 18 and 19 July at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus and is a co-production of DIPETHE Patras and the company Aptivities.
Abandoned by his companions in Lemnos, Philoctetes confronts them ten years later, when they treacherously attempt to wrest from him the invincible bow of Hercules in order to conquer Troy.
Sophocles' tragedy is about human suffering and abandonment, the relationship between individual consciousness and politics, personal honor and duty.
"You hardly move the ancient poetic speech", the director emphasized in a recent press conference that he experimented with Dance and "a pause of tragedy".

Creation of a Greek sculptor adorns the park of Mount Royal

The imposing sculpture of the Greek Praxiteles Janoulinos, which symbolizes them Olympic Games across the globe, now adorns the "Gaia" park of the Town of Mount Royal municipality, area located on the border of the "Greek-occupied" Parc Extension.
The work was created in Greece and represents a sphere, bearing the Olympic circles and laurel branches. It is made of steel, has a diameter 1,4 measures and weighs 320 kilos.
During the unveiling ceremony, at 15 July, the mayor Philippe Roy stated that the project is a donation of the Greek families Paul and Melpas Kamaterou, Nikolaou Tsata, Nikolaos Arkolakis and Tzimis Christopoulos, as a tribute to the city, where the Olympic Flame passed twice.
The mayor emphasized, yet, that the choice of the "Gaia" park was not random. His Greek name, referring to Earth, it fits perfectly with the work of the Greek sculptor, who imprinted the globe with the stripes of peace and the Olympic circles of the reconciliation of peoples.
The consul general of Greece also attended the ceremony Montreal, Thanos Kafopoulos, who said he was proud that a Greek work adorns one of the most beautiful parts of Montreal. The Greek consul also thanked the municipality for welcoming the sculpture, but also the four Greek families, who offered money for its construction.
