Stop it, think, feel, love and connect with Brigitte Polemi

The international visual artist Brigitte Polemi, pioneer in the use of mixed media digital printing on multiple layers of plexi-glass, presents her first solo exhibition in Greece which opens on 16 May at the Bouziani Museum , titled "#iFollow" . The exhibition takes place in conversation with Documenta 14 and in the context of the opening of the Bouziani Museum of Contemporary Art.

Mετά το dieselgate: Ποιοι diesel ρυπαίνουν πραγματικά;

Πέρυσι, αμέσως μετά την έκθεση της Φρανκφούρτης, ο Όμιλος Volkswagen βρέθηκε στο επίκεντρο του σκανδάλου, του επονομαζόμενου Dieselgate.Σε αυτοκίνητα που κυκλοφορούσαν στις ΗΠΑ και έφεραν πετρελαιοκινητήρες τεχνολογίας προγενέστερης της Euro 6, βρέθηκε λογισμικό που αναγνώριζε ότι το όχημα δέχεται έλεγχο ρύπων και έριχνε αυτόματα τις εκπομπές.Τι γίνεται όμως σήμερα; Πόσο επικίνδυνοι είναι οι νέοι πετρελαιοκινητήρες για τη δημόσια υγεία;

“Γενικό” Diesegade

Τα αποτελέσματα έρευνας του Transport & Environment (T&E), οργανισμού-ομπρέλα των ευρωπαϊκών μη κυβερνητικών οργανώσεων, προκαλούν έκπληξη. Δείχνουν ότι οι Euro 6 diesel της Volkswagen είναι οι πιο καθαροί στην αυτοκινητοβιομηχανία αυτή τη στιγμή!Η T&E ανέλυσε τα δεδομένα από τις δοκιμές εκπομπών ρύπων περίπου 230 αυτοκινήτων με πετρελαιοκινητήρα. Οι τιμές εκπομπών ρύπων προέρχονται από τις κυβερνήσεις Μ. Βρετανίας, Γαλλίας και Γερμανίας αλλά και μεγάλη δημόσια βάση δεδομένων.

Οι δοκιμές έγιναν στο δρόμο υπό ρεαλιστικές συνθήκες οδήγησης και όχι σε κάποιον εργαστηριακό πάγκο.Τι έδειξαν τα τεστ; Ότι όλοι οι diesel ξεπερνούν τα επιτρεπτά επίπεδα οξειδίου του αζώτου (NOx), οι υψηλές εκπομπές του οποίου ευθύνονται για σοβαρές ασθένειες, όπως άσθμα, βρογχίτιδα και εμφύσημα (πάθηση των πνευμόνων).

Unfortunately for now the rumors want her to retire, the brand will invest in larger luxury vehicle categories building its image from the ground up. However, with today's image and the well-known news that the Alfas of the future will send the drive to the rear wheels, we really see no reason why such a venture should not proceed.
In this particular photo anyway (rendering), we can distinguish a beautiful hatchback with prestige and a strong personality which stems not only from the emblem but also from the design itself. Add to that the traditionally driver-centric character of Alfa Romeos to get a complete picture of what's going on. I wish we could convince them…

Hyundai is preparing a pick up

Hyundai is preparing the first pick-up in its history and now, new information from abroad says that the new model will be delayed since it is expected on the market after the 2020.

As we have written in the past, the Hyundai pick-up will be based on the Santa Cruz prototype that the company presented at the Detroit Auto Show in 2015. However and despite the existence of the original, the production version will still be a while to come, since the General Manager of Hyundai Australia Mr. Scott Grant, revealed in an interview that the first Korean pick-up will come to market 2020.
Hyundai's goal is to bring us a traditional pick-up, που θα ανταγωνιστεί μοντέλα όπως το Toyota Hilux και το Ford Ranger και θα έχει εκδόσεις 4X2 και 4Χ4. Το τι θα συμβεί τελικά, θα το δούμε σε μια 3ετία από σήμερα.
