The Thessaloniki International Book Fair (DEBT), institution and meeting place for all professionals and book lovers in Greece, will be held this year by Thursday 11 until Sunday 14 May 2017 at the site of the International Exhibition & Thessaloniki Conference Center of TEF-HELEXPO.      We travel in Greece and abroad, we know the world and its beauties!    This year's 14th event has as its central thematic tribute European South  in literature, in the culture, in history and politics. In the context of the "Search for the South" there are many and important authors who are expected to visit the city of Thessaloniki. The DEBTH program also includes four major thematic axes: The work of the great Greek writer Nikos Kazantzakis  , the centenary of the October Revolution, the Refugee Issue  and the Greece-China Cultural Year 2017. The program also includes the Festival of Young Writers and Translation Festival  which have been carried out with particular success in recent years, while the beloved Children's Corner of young and old is getting ready to welcome talented creators from Italy, France and Germany.   The Thessaloniki International Book Fair is organized by the Hellenic Cultural Foundation, TEF-HELEXPO and the Municipality of Thessaloniki, with the support of the Greek Publishers and the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, within the framework of the PEP of Central Macedonia 2014-2020.

Increase in low wages – employed on a part-time basis vs 12,61% and average pay… 392,53 euros gross, recorded by EFKA in the private sector between June ’15 and June ’16, in contrast to full-time insureds who only increased by 3,25%. According to the comparative data of the former IKA, in June ’16 the total number of insured persons reached 2.006.720 individuals, from 1.909.948 which was in the corresponding month of ’15. This improvement came from, however, mainly from the large increase in the insured with reduced hours that reached them 601.869 (333.465 women and 268.404 men), rate 29% in total, with average gross earnings 392,53 euro (387,12 euro for men and 396,88 euros for women) and average daily wage 23,57 euro. Respectively, the average monthly earnings for them 1.474.904 full-time employees were 1.162,34 euros gross (1.248,42 euro for 829.471 men and 1.051,73 euro for 645.433 women), reduced by 1,77% compared to June ’15.   Continue to the source…
