Nέο Volvo V40: From 21.070 euro with withdrawal

Volvo Car Hellas has announced the suggested retail prices for the new V40, shortly before the car's official appearance at its showrooms in Greece, which is scheduled for mid-July.

For petrol versions of the new V40, there are two options, based on the engine we know from the S60/V60 1,6 liter, of course with a turbo, like all Volvo engines: The T3 version of the 1.596 κ.εκ. and 150 horsepower with CO2 emissions 125 ml/km. In the Optimum equipment level, T3 starts from 21.070 euro with withdrawal (initial 22.500)
the T4 version, also of 1.596 κ.εκ. but with 180 horses this time, with CO2 emissions 129 ml/km. with the manual 6-speed transmission. In the Optimum equipment level, the T4 version starts from 22.820 euro with withdrawal (initial 24.250).

In the diesel versions, the options offered by the new V40 are even more: The D2 version with the turbo diesel engine 1.560 ml, with 115 horsepower, with torque as his main weapon: 27,5 kg. Να σημειωθεί ότι η τιμή της D2 έκδοσης είναι μόλις 900 ευρώ μεγαλύτερη από την επίσης 1,6 λίτρου βενζινοκίνητη έκδοση Τ3. Η έκδοση D3 με τον 5κύλινδρο turbo πετρελαιοκινητήρα 1.984 ml, with 150 horsepower, που ξεκινάει από τα 25.750 euro with withdrawal (αρχική τιμή 28.550), στην έκδοση Optimum με 6-τάχυτο χειροκίνητο κιβώτιο ταχυτήτων. Hamilton: 'Bad day at work'

Fiat 500 με μοτέρ Ferrari;

Και όμως! Ο σχεδιαστικός οίκος Lazzarini παρουσίασε το νέο του project, το οποίο βασίζεται πάνω στο αμάξωμα του Fiat 500, αλλά η ισχύς του θα προέρχεται από έναν κινητήρα V8 της Ferrari.
H Lazzarini Design παρουσίασε το νέο της project με ονομασία 550 Italia, που βασίζεται πάνω στην πλατφόρμα του Fiat 500 με πάρα πολλές τροποποιήσεις. Εκτός από τα υπερβολικά αεροδυναμικά βοηθήματα και την γιγαντιαία αεροτομή, το σημαντικότερο στοιχείο που ξεχωρίζει το «θηριάκι» είναι ο κινητήρας V8 της Ferrari που έχει τοποθετηθεί στο πίσω μέρος. Η απόδοση του 4,5λιτρου κινητήρα αγγίζει τους 550 horsepower, however, σύμφωνα με το βελτιωτικό οίκο, μείωσε την ισχύ κατά 20 horsepower (αφού το μοτέρ της 458 Italia αποδίδει 570 horsepower) για να έχει καλύτερη πρόσφυση (!).

For now, η εταιρεία Lazzarini αναζητά επενδυτές να είναι πρόθυμοι να ξοδέψουν 437.000 ευρώ για να προχωρήσει το συγκεκριμένο project στην παραγωγή ελάχιστων, of course, «υπερμονάδων».

A smaller Lexus GS hybrid is in the works

Κόντρα στα diesel των BMW, Mercedes και Audi

Την εξέλιξη ενός δεύτερου, μικρότερου υβριδικού στη γκάμα του GS επιβεβαίωσε η Lexus. Το νέο μοντέλο ενδέχεται να ονομάζεται GS300h και βάζει στόχο green πετρελαιοκίνητες εκδόσεις του γερμανικού ανταγωνισμού – βλέπε π.χ. BMW 520d EfficientDynamics και Audi A6 2.0 TDI. Παραμένουν άγνωστα τα τεχνικά στοιχεία της νέας έκδοσης, however, όπως αποκάλυψε ο Yoshihiko Kanamori, επικεφαλής τεχνικός για το νέο GS, ο κινητήρας βενζίνης θα είναι μεγαλύτερος από τον 1.8 του CT200h και μικρότερος από τον 3.5 V6 του GS450h (photo).

Η λογική λέει πως θα χρησιμοποιηθεί η έτοιμη λύση των υβριδικών μοντέλων της αμερικανικής αγοράς Lexus ES300h και Toyota Camry Hybrid, που συνδυάζει έναν 2,5λιτρο τετρακύλινδρο βενζινοκινητήρα με ηλεκτροκινητήρα και κιβώτιο CVT. Το νέο υβριδικό της Lexus θα είναι έτοιμο το 2013, ενώ περισσότερες πληροφορίες θα μάθουμε στην έκθεση του Παρισιού τον ερχόμενο Σεπτέμβριο.

Alfa Romeo 4C: A miracle is born!

Skoda Rapid

The Rapid is taking a central role in doubling Skoda's sales and will be launched in all European markets in the autumn of 2012. The car fully incorporates all elements of the new corporate design, which will also characterize the next new models. The front shows off Skoda's new design philosophy. The brand's new badge is placed in a specially designed position on the front bonnet and no longer on the grille, whose shape is now wider. A chrome frame surrounds its dense vertical stripes that ensure effective engine ventilation. The lighting bodies have a new design and complement the aggressive design of the front part.

Despite the relatively compact external dimensions (length 4.48m and width 1.7m), the new Rapid surprises with its interiors. Its five passengers will have unique comfort and facilities while their luggage is taken care of by the luggage space that exceeds 500 lt. Two diesel and five petrol engines form the driving force and will be mated to either manual or automatic DSG gearboxes 7 relations. Small changes for the Nissan Pixo

THE Nissan made minor changes to Pixo's engine and aerodynamics, which had the effect of dropping average CO2 emissions below their threshold 100 g/km.

That means how, when the renewed small Nissan arrives in our country, will not pay road tax, at least according to what is in force today.

Other changes include two new colors (Midnight Purple και Glistening Grey) and slightly updated cabin decoration, where some plastics have changed from gray to black.

Since the Pixo is based on the Alto, it was only a matter of time before we saw these changes, since they have already been done in the small Suzuki.
