New Opel Astra OPC

Opel has released the first official photos of the new Astra OPC. The explosive small and medium of 280 of horses stands out and really captivates with its dynamism.

As it seems, Opel designers have once again done an excellent job, presenting a highly dynamic design set with a very dynamic profile which, however, does not deviate from the prescribed and accepted frameworks.

But apart from the design, the new Astra OPC also has a lot of technology, the main purpose of which is to enhance its sporty character. We are referring to the front suspension (High Performance Strut) which was designed exclusively for the OPC version but also on the electrically controlled FlexRide technology chassis. This allows the driver to choose, with the push of a button, Sport and OPC settings depending on the pace it wants to move. also, on the front axle of the new "hot" Opel model we also find a locking differential which ensures that both wheels have the maximum possible traction even in difficult road conditions. Still, interesting is the fact that the braking system of the Astra OPC has been developed by the well-known company Brembo and is clearly more strengthened than that in the simple versions of the small and medium Opel.

Engine 280 of horses – Fire and laurel….

The top and sportiest version in the range of the new Opel Astra features a 2-litre direct injection turbo engine with power 280 horsepower and torque that touches the 400 Nm. With this given, the top speed of the car reaches the 250 km / h. Soon we will know more detailed technical data about the new OPC (B.C. accelerations), which is the fastest Astra we've ever seen. We remind you that the OPC will compete with commercially important models such as the VW Golf GTI.

The Agent “007” returns to the big screen

The British agent is back and this time he has aces up his sleeve. During a Sony Pictures press conference, the cast and the first plot details for the new James Bond film adventure have been announced.

What makes the new Bond film special, he is its director, Sam Mendez (American Beauty – Road to Perdition – Revolutionary Road) and of course the rich cast. For the third time, Daniel Craig will save the world as James Bond, while his great opponent will be the Oscar winner, Javier Bardem. Also in the film are Ralph Fiennes and Albert Finney.

The story revolves around Bond and his loyalty to M, as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 is attacked from everywhere, The 007 he is called upon to pursue and destroy the threat, even if the cost will be entirely personal.

Filming James Bond: Skyfall will launch on 7 November and will be shown in cinemas from 26 October of 2012.

Peugeot 208

Το Peugeot 208 is his successor 207, of a model that went into production the 2006. Nevertheless, lately the French model has been hard to compete with the German supermini Volkswagen Polo, a model new to the market, but also the Fiat Punto. Two cars extremely popular in the European market and specifically in the B category.

According to the first data published along with the first photos of the new French model, the 208 is more compact than 207. So according to these figures, its length reaches the 3,975 meters which means it is shorter by 70 millimeters from the origin 207, which is long 4,045 meters. The most important element, however, is that Peugeot engineers managed to reduce the weight by 110 kilos. An element if anything impressive and imposing.

Peugeot sales 208 will launch in the European market next spring. In the range of engines there will initially be two petrol and five diesel versions. The engines will be included in the gasoline engine base 1.0 l. and 1.2 liter with a fuel economy combination of 4,3 liters in 100 km.

Its exterior design 208, which is available in three-door and five-door versions, has borrowed many stylistic elements from the latest concept models of the French brand, like the HX1.
