Seminar on the European Language Folder for people with partial or total vision loss

The Center for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind (KEAT-Thessalonica Branch) and the Greek Language Center (KEG) of the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs are co-organizing a seminar dedicated to the program entitled "Tell Me How!- Dissemination of the European Language Folder for People with Partial or Total Sight Loss",which is implemented in the framework of the "Lifelong Learning" program, of the European Commission.

The seminar will take place at the Central Municipal Library (of National Defense 27, Thessalonica) on Thursday 3 November 2011, (09.30 -14.00.) and is addressed to teachers of foreign languages ​​as well as Greek as a foreign/second language in relation to the audience of students with visual impairments in order to present and promote the use of the special European Language Learning Folder ELPBVI.

One minute…marching for Simoncelli

To commemorate the late Marco Simoncelli in a special way, his father asked. Paolo Simoncelli proposed in the next and final grand prix of the season (5-6/11) at the Valencia circuit, all riders to march for one minute, to cause chaos.

They are peaking these days, with events at the Athens Concert Hall, the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of the Nobel laureate poet Odysseus Elytis at 2 November of 1911. Themed symposium "The twentieth century in the poetry of Elytis – The poetry of Elytis in the twenty-first century» will be held on Tuesday 1 November and Wednesday 2 November with distinguished speakers from the field of philology, of literature and the arts.
