Iconic artists and familiar Athenian signatures, live action on the streets and on the big screen: a new festival explores the diversity of art found in public space.
If you want to "unlock" the thinking of a city, she looked at her walls. If nothing else, Athens provides a lot of material. With visual murals and complex tags, artistic interventions in the public space have been claiming our attention for years, but lately they have also... institutionally their due. remember this year's related publication of the "Times" of New York or the exhibition "No respect" at Stegi. "With this event, we wish to upgrade the urban landscape, the highlighting of the different forms of art that we find in the public space, but also for Athens to have an annual appointment that will showcase public art through various actions".
