European cities occupy eight of the top ten positions — along with Tokyo and Seoul — in the ranking with the 35 cities compiled by the Center for Economic and Business Research (CEBR) with the support of the smartphone chip maker, by Qualcomm.

“Oslo is set to become the world's first zero-emissions transport city”, according to the CEBR report which estimates both existing policies and plans to promote them “green transport”: from electric cars to bicycles.

‘”Yes, we can”, would be the phrase with which I would succinctly describe my experience as one of the first guests of the now renovated Makedonia Palace hotel'. Despina Papadima, communication consultant and advertising company owner, they were among the first people to check in at the hotel.
Although the hotel's doors officially opened on May 1st, as Ms. Papadima explains to APE-MPE, those in charge agreed to accommodate them a little earlier and spend the night there from 30 April.
