This Bonneville Essentia is a beautiful piece, proposal by Officine GP Design, of an improv garage that recently thrilled us by introducing Pathos (no translation needed), based on his MV Brutale 1090R 2012.
GP Design is a true boutique for lovers of two wheels. It was born when the brothers Luca and Fabio Pozzato decided to graft the family business (motorcycle trading) with their passion for self-builds.
The Essentia you are viewing is part of the ONLY FOR YOU program, and designed for a female customer, Stefania, which has a weakness for "unique items", made of natural materials such as steel, wood, the light alloys, the iron, the bronze, aluminum and leather. He also appreciates technology, but only when it serves aesthetics.
Stefania's orders were for a motorcycle with timeless aesthetics, with many technological goodies but also a comfortable driving position, designed to her measurements by the "tailors" of Officine GP Desing.
He took them 6 months but the result is worth it. Here are some of the conversions that transformed a simple Bonneville into an Essentia:
Kineo rims, front floating discs with radial Brembo calipers, Harley Davidson springer fork, many accessories from Rizoma (caps, screws, sills and grips), RK chain, comfortable handmade saddle made of soft brown suede leather, gas cap from Monza, "period" rear light, rear fender handcrafted from thin sheet metal with rosewood overlay, and multiple coats of gloss paint.
The 'OFFICINE GP DESIGN' logo on the side is carved in solid bronze, with aging treatment. When these immortal materials are worked by master hands, the result can definitely be called "classic".
