Renault-Nissan also acquires Lada

Renault-Nissan's intention to invest directly in the Russian market, taking over the fortunes of AvtoVAZ and bringing Lada back to life, Carlos Ghosn announced.
The Russian market is one of the least developed, showing an increase, for the 2011, in new car sales, of his class 40%, with 2,6 million units! The forecast-estimate for the 2012, indicates a further increase, with something less than 3 million units. With these data, the rumored intention of Renault-Nissan to invest in the Russian market;, immediately metamorphoses, with the CEO of the Group, Carlos Ghosn, to move to Moscow, to sign the agreement.

The agreement in question includes its acquisition 67,13%, up to 2014, when and the rate will increase to 74,5% της AvtoVAZ, with the Franco-Japanese group investing approx 742 million dollars. In the immediate footage, is the “restoration” -to Dacia standards- of the faltering Lada, with production 1,4 million units to 2015.

“Russia will be, up to 2015, the largest car market in Europe. It is fully competitive and that is why the biggest car manufacturers have transferred part of their operations there. In everything, what about Lada, soon and for a long time, will become the leading brand in Russia”, was Carlos Ghosn's comment.

Orestis Giovas: Because he refused to join the Demons;

Seat Mii

After the VW up! και Skoda Citigo, SEAT's new representative in the mini category arrived on the Greek market. Mii is trying to claim new buyers, being the most "passionate" model of the trio.

+ Engine operation
+ Road behavior
+ Passenger spaces (front)- luggage
– Ergonomic imperfections
– Basic version equipment

The inclusion of SEAT in the VW Group is also bearing fruit in the popular mini category. In a category that the Spanish company has not participated in for many years, it now starts with the Mii which is the sister model of the recently introduced VW up! και Skoda Citigo. Despite the common traits the Mii has with the other two models, its market placement is, according to the company, different, since the SEAT Mii is called upon to be the sporty part of the identical trio.

Motor: Willing and economical
The Mii is equipped with a 3-cylinder engine 1 liter, 60 horses and 95 Nm of torque, originating from the VW group. This engine is characterized by its civilized operation, as can be seen from the noise measurements, despite the existence of three cylinders which usually entails vibrations.

The performance it offers in the light (930 kilos) SEAT are above the class average, especially when it comes to accelerations in motion. Helping him in this is the relatively tight scaling of the 5-speed manual gearbox, which has a pleasant feel and is accurate in quick changes. In terms of consumption, the average price announced by SEAT, of 4,5 lt./100 km. it is completely competitive and can be achieved by the driver in mixed traffic conditions.
