The central program of the anniversary event Athens Photo Festival 2012, it is inauguratedFriday 19 October at 20:00 in all its areas "Technopolis" of the Municipality of Athens and will last until Sunday 4 November 2012. With new ideas and an orientation towards modern international photography, it offers the opportunity for friends of modern culture to attend the most important event for photography in Greece.

An extensive program of 21 exhibitions featuring artists from 28 countries as well as a wide range of actions – Photo Voices International Forum, Photo Marathon, projections, educational activities, Performance program, special tours- and parallel events, compose a contemporary platform dedicated to photography and visual culture.

The core of the exhibition program under the general title "Art/Doc Intersection" reinforces the aesthetic and social dialogue, crossing selected artistic practices that straddle artistic and documentary photography and are characterized by their specificity and vitality.

The program of the event is framed by a series of exhibitions and activities that take place in various exhibition spaces of the city.

Θανάσης Ευθυμιάδης Τα ειρωνικά σχόλια για το Mega

Ο Θανάσης Ευθυμιάδης βρέθηκε καλεσμένος στην εκπομπή της Ελένης Μενεγάκη τη Δευτέρα. Η συζήτησή του με την παρουσιάστρια του Alpha ξεκίνησε από την παράσταση στην οποία πρωταγωνιστεί ο ηθοποιός, «Άντρες Έτοιμοι για Όλα», και συνεχίστηκε με τα οικονομικά προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει η χώρα.

Then, ο ηθοποιός αναφέρθηκε στο δικό του οικονομικό πρόβλημα και στα χρήματα που ποτέ δεν έχει πληρωθεί από το Mega για ένα σήριαλ στο οποίο πρωταγωνίστησεε. «Δεν μπορεί ολόκληρο Mega να σου λέει “δεν έχω λεφτά”. Ούτε εγώ έχω να πληρώσω τις υποχρεώσεις μου στο κράτος. Όταν με πάρουν θα τους πω “πάρτε τηλέφωνο το λογιστήριο του Mega;”» ανέφερε ο ηθοποιός, while then added: «Tώρα ξεκίνησαν να δίνουν λεφτά στη γυναίκα μου για το “Με λένε Βαγγέλη”. Eλπίζω να συνεχίσουν. Εμένα για τις “Κούκλες” τίποτα ακόμη. Αφού καμιά φορά σκέφτομαι να κάνουμε έναν έρανο να μαζέψουμε λεφτά για τους καημένους, αυτούς τους καημένους στο Mega. Ας καταλάβει κι εμένα το κράτος όπως εγώ το Mega, το στούντιο ΑΤΑ συγκεκριμένα».
