Iphigenia in Avlidis directed by Themis Moumoulidis at the Badminton theater

It started impressively in Athens, filling up the Petra Theater and continued to sell out continuously

Euripides' Iphigeneia in Aulidis is one of the leading texts of the ancient Greek treatise, it is a deeply political text, an ironic and at the same time tragic comment on the subject of political expediency. Iphigenia is a symbol of every sacrifice, it is the atoning victim of the political expediency of each era. THE “Iphigenia in Avlidis”, is the penultimate work of Euripides. It fulfills the divine will of Artemis that Iphigenia be sacrificed, daughter of the king of Mycenae, Agamemnon, in order for fair winds to blow and the fleet of the Greeks to set sail for Troy.

The war is happening this time because Paris stole Menelaus' wife Helen, thus insulting Greece. The Greek fleet waits in Avlis for the winds to blow...

Agamemnon's initial decision to accept the oracle, in a state of confusion and panic and his false announcement of Iphigenia's marriage to Achilles in order to drive Iphigenia to the Court, it is soon recalled by him. However in the end, Agamemnon, despite the pleas of Clytemnestra and Iphigenia, decides the sacrifice. The Iphigenia, she is called in a moment to realize the irreversible change in her life. Weak and disgusted in the face of the army's violence, defenseless, and innocent,  decides, with an ironic speech that borders on sarcasm, to sacrifice himself voluntarily.

Nautical, Orange, Maravia, Burger Project and many young artists sing in "Technopolis", that becomes an interactive park

This year's event will be greater than the two previous, As concerts will be held in two different scenes, While the space of "Technopolis" will be transformed into a vibrant and interactive park that will provide visitors a unique experience.

Antonis Kanakis : His new professional step – surprise!

Formula returns to Alpha on Sunday 1

Tο πρωτάθλημα της F1 επιστρέφει την Κυριακή στον Alpha με τον δωδέκατο αγώνα της χρονιάς.

Η πρώτη φορά που διοργανώθηκε το GP του Βελγίου στην πίστα του Σπα ήταν το 1950. Φέτος θα είναι η 45η.

Οι Σουμάχερ και Ράικονεν έχουν κερδίσει τους έξι από τους εννιά αγώνες που έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί στη θρυλική διαδρομή τα τελευταία χρόνια.

This year, δεν έχουν κερδίσει αγώνα ακόμη και ίσως έχουν την ευκαιρία να το κάνουν.
