A premiere for Porsche 911 Carrera 4

The first official photos of the youngsters, all-wheel-drive Carrera versions 4 and 4S, of the evergreen 911 were made public, a month before the car's presentation at the Paris show.

The family of the new 911, with internal code 991, grows up. The reason for the addition of four-wheel drive versions to its range, Carrera S and 4S, which will be offered both in closed, as well as in its convertible version. As with previous generations of Carrera all-wheel drive, the main way they stand out from the rear-wheel drive versions is the logo on the back and the reflective tape that connects the taillights.

So far no information has been made public regarding the cars and, mainly, with the four-wheel drive system they carry. Bentley's new "green" engines

After they finally went ahead with the design change from the original EXP, its managing director Bentley revealed the "green" engines that the new one is likely to be equipped with SUV.

Recently, the chief executive of Bentley, Wolfgang Durheimer (who is now at Audi) revealed that the British brand is thinking about becoming more "friendly" to the environment, and the way this could be achieved was by equipping their future models with diesel and hybrid engines. It is assumed that for a start it will borrow the V8 diesel engine of the "sister" company – Audi- which yields 406 horsepower.

Durheimer in an interview also mentioned that they will do away with their V8 engine 6,75 liter (512 hp/1020 Nm torque) and will be replaced with a new V12. End, regarding the engines of the new SUV, it is expected that some of the new diesels or hybrids will be used, while the model will be based on a Volkswagen platform.

The explosive model is painted in a striking blue color, while two white lines have been placed along the body, emphasizing its dynamic character. also, it has a fairly wide body kit, new – by design- bonnet, as well as wheels 20 inches.

The "heart" of the beast beats with the sound of a V8 engine 5,8 liter, which has borrowed the supercharger from Ford Racing's turbocharged 4-litre engine, touching them 862 horsepower, that is 200 horsepower more than the "simple" model. When the 1952 Aston Martin was presenting the DB3, the only thing on her mind was winning Le Mans. Nevertheless, the car was quite heavy and not so durable for such a test, so the manufacturer came back a year later with the improved DB3S. Within the next few years, this particular version managed to win several races, like at Goodwood and Silverstone and succeed 2 second places at Le Mans. From these successes, several prominent customers of the brand asked to acquire a DB3S and so, the company produced 20 street models, one of which is currently available for sale.

This carries the chassis 118 and it is considered one of the best preserved preserved today. It was originally bought by Dutch racing driver Hans Davids, while a few years later it passed into the hands of an American, to end it 1992 to its current owner, who in turn sells it. VW acquired Porsche

After a long and special relationship between the two companies, the landscape is now becoming clearer, opening a new chapter in their collaboration.

The end credits of one of the biggest corporate "battles" of recent years have officially dropped. The 100% of Porsche shares now belongs to the VW group, in a development that a few years ago led to the opposite result, the acquisition of VW by Porsche. Be that as it may, the two companies have several common roots, with decades of collaboration. According to VW CEO Martin Winterkorn, "the path is now cleared, leading to a brilliant, common future.
