Tribute to the great absentee of MotoGP

It all started last year, shortly after the unexpected death of the hopeful and popular in Italy, Marco Simoncelli.

Marco's fans as well as ordinary locals began to demand urgently with thousands of letters, messages and signatures from the Misano track management (officially called the Misano World Circuit) to rename it, as a tribute to the deceased.

In response management announced last November that it indeed intended to adopt Simoncelli's name.

Yesterday, in a short press conference, Dr. Trevi, president of Santamonica SpA (owner of the track) made public, in the presence of the Simoncelli family, the new name and logo.

So from now on the historic circuit will be referred to as "Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli".

Its new logo is the work of the well-known Aldo Drudi. The Italian designer for legal reasons was not free to completely change the name and logo of the track, as the bureaucracy also in Italy poses obstacles... of Mediterranean dimensions.

However he was able to play with the two red 'll's which if you remember were also on Super Sic's AGV helmet, which Drudi had also designed.

They symbolized the path to the future, as the two parallel lines never meet, continuing ad infinitum. Now they ride high, there near the unforgettable Marco.

"Our goal is the championship"

The new Peugeot 301

A new 4-door small and medium model was recently presented by Peugeot. It is about creating the classic recipe of a practical sedan, which has a global character, also introducing the number "1" as an ending to the name of a Peugeot model.
 Initially it 301 it will be available in neighboring Turkey and then it will also come to the markets of Greece, of Russia, of Ukraine, of Africa, of the Middle East and in several Latin American countries.
The 301 looks stylish and modern, borrowing design elements from the new 208 and 508, presenting a balanced length silhouette 4,44 meters. Its wheelbase 301 is 2,65 meters and the luggage space is impressive 506 liter. In terms of engines, initially the new 3-cylinder petrol engine will stand at the base 1,2 liters with performance 71 horses. Colin Edwards returns and will compete in Catalonia

The NGM Mobile Forward Racing team is eagerly awaiting the Texan to continue the development of the CRT prototype. Interim replacement Chris Vermuelen tested a new electronics package at the wet French GP and now it's Colin's job to get on with improving it, to get back the good feel of the bike he had in Qatar.
