Nicoletta Ralli : The statements for Study- Menegaki and for Star!

Shortly after the cut of her show by Star, Nicoletta Ralli spoke on the site of Nikos Eftaxias, alltrends.gr, for the Eleonora Study, Eleni Menegaki but also for the attitude of the channel towards her.

With the journalist commenting that the Kato Kifissia canal supported her and promoted her a lot, the young presenter, where, as she explained, remains an employee at the station and is still being paid, did not hesitate to answer: "I do not agree with you at all. Unfortunately I really fell into a very bad period and the channel couldn't deal with just one person and one concept, he had other concerns and it is perfectly normal when people with families work and cuts and redundancies have to be made due to these circumstances. You are hugely wrong that there was terrible promotion in my face, I didn't feel that for a moment. However, I didn't feel that they had written me down, we made the extra effort, the made in star team, and from then on we had everything we needed".

Subsequently, she was asked if she feels pissed off with Eleonora Meleti: "I don't see that he took my place. If it wasn't Eleonora it would be someone else. (…) Eleonora is a girl who did well what she did in the morning, and now they are given the opportunity to do so at noon. Of course, the audience is different in the morning and different at noon, nothing to do with it and Eleonora knows this too if you ask her. One cannot imagine that the world is sitting by the 7 in the morning and until 4 at noon and watches TV" he replied, while regarding Eleni Menegaki he commented: "You think that Eleni Menegaki was expected by the world to see her this year in the noon zone; Helen exists 18-20 years on television. It was always there as a name. And don't see her at breakfast, you say “Sit down and let me see Menegaki, guys”. You also put Eleni on mute, you see a nice woman with a nice studio, it makes a very beautiful picture".

End, reported: "I want to tell you something else, which people probably don't know because of course people don't care about viewership numbers. The problem with live shows is not even Eleni Menegaki, nor Eleonora Meleti. First, five places ahead, they are the repeat series that were filmed twenty years ago, then there are the news bulletins and then there are the live shows. If people prefer to see Konstantinos and Elenis than to see Meletis, the problem lies elsewhere and the channel should look elsewhere. We keep talking about Eleonora Meleti and Eleni Menegaki, when in fact she is neither of the first two".

The new Chevrolet Trax is ready

Chevrolet showed its new small SUV. It is essentially the "little brother" of the Opel Mokka and is expected to absorb the intense interest of the market after September 2012 when it will be officially presented.
It is certain that a small SUV was missing from the Chevrolet range. It is exactly this gap that the brand decided to fill, taking advantage of the new platform developed for this very reason by the GM group. So, the new Chevrolet Trax is now a fact, being the "little brother" of the also new Opel Mokka, which we have seen recently.

We got a first impression of the Trax 2007 with the homonymous original. The production car seen in the photos will be officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September 2012. Chevrolet emphasizes that it will be commercially available in more than 140 markets of the world, while in Europe we will see it in the spring 2013.

Referring to Trax, Mary Barra, a top Chevrolet executive pointed out: “Trax gives Chevrolet access to the ever-growing small SUV segment by promoting versatility, fuel economy but also the feeling that drivers around the world are looking for".

For now, however, the technical details of the model have not been announced. However, let's keep in mind that in its range the Trax is expected to have both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions.

The Highlights of the Festival of Sani in Halkidiki

The Sani Festival of Halkidiki celebrates this year 20 years of wonderful jazz and world musicians of the international and Greek scene, that he has given us. The festival will take place this summer from 13 July until 28 August.

The organizers proudly report on this important anniversary of the festival:

From idea to practice, the road is not necessarily long. This year's 20th anniversary Sani Festival comes to confirm the conquest of both, a real triumph for the originators, organizers, participants and background workers over the years. We are entitled, we think, to feel great pride in how with hard work and persistence we achieved a wish that was expressed 20 years before realizing her and leading her beautifully into adulthood, working responsibly, sincerity, respect and consistency, both in relation to the cultural product we chose to manage and in relation to the audience-receiver who embraced us from the first moment. 20 years now, Sani Festival serves talent, the ethos, the professionalism, ultimately produces culture.

Autonomous carrier of great response, evolved steadily upwards: it started with Jazz on the Hill, to then add thematic sections around classical music, τo Sounds of the World, the Greek pulsating scene, established but also experimental. And still, added to his interests was the magic engendered by film music, the attraction exerted by legendary names such as Michel Legrand or Peter Greenaway who graced his stage, the "third" cultural dimension of the visual space, the theatrical immediacy and so many other interests that were "born" in the summers at Lofo tis Sani. 20 years later, and thanks to the symbolism of the number that confirms the Sani Festival, we enjoy success and celebrate. And this celebration, trust us, it will be directly proportional in quality and surprises to the course of the festival over the years.

Highlights of this year's program

Some of these surprises are heard in the names of great musicians of the international and domestic scene, such as the American jazz musician Ahmad Jamal one of the most important exponents of jazz since 1945 and after, second in the relative "hierarchy" after Charlie Parker. He will appear at Lofo tis Sani on 14 July as part of Jazz on the Hill -13,14,15/7-, while in 21 of the same month and within the framework of Sounds of the World, will take to the festival stage for an exclusive concert across Europe, ο Ishmael Lo, African blues star, leading representative of this musical idiom. Soon the entire program will be announced, which will include concerts with resounding Greek names who will present musical creations set up especially for the 20 years of the Sani Festival.
