He spoke about the unexpected loss of Dimitris Mitropanos, including, in an interview with "Down Town" of Cyprus and the journalist Giannis Hatzigeorgiou Peggy Zina.
"It simply came to our notice then. And I'm sure I will never get over it. Never! Simply, "I will get used to living with it," said the 37-year-old singer, while he continued emphasizing that "Dimitris was first of all my top collaboration- I can not think of anything higher, as things stand at the moment, who generously gave me as much as anyone else these 16 years I sing- but mostly a man who stigmatized my life on a human level. Dimitris, I can say, that he was even higher than people in my family- in the narrow sense of the word. And you do not ask these things, so it happened and our families bonded a lot. They became like one. As a result, even the time we did not work together, to be too close. And we will continue to be very close to his family. Suffice it to say that everything, what has happened to me so far- from the death of my dad, up to other losses of important relatives of mine, as well as some illness of my husband during the time I was pregnant- because I happened not to sing at the time, I treated them relatively well. This, Nevertheless, that I experienced when Dimitris left for his last trip, I can say it was their worst night 16 years of singing ".
He even described their last meeting: "We celebrated Easter together. We were together Sunday, on Monday I traveled to Cyprus and on Tuesday morning I was notified of the incident. In this last meeting we remember that we were too many people gathered, in his very welcoming and open house, at a huge table with lots of food, in which we laughed and he made jokes with my daughter. And as soon as she moaned a little, he told her “What do you want, my lady; You want something, my lady;” (is excited). We hugged and returned home, to wake up early the next day and travel to Cyprus ".
