Honda Gear Concept: Small 3-door hatchback presented at the Montreal show

The information that the Japanese reveal is minimal, but the small extra side windows in front of the mirrors reminiscent of Jazz, create the impression that perhaps the Gear Concept gives a first taste of Honda's next supermini, or even constitute (for the first time) its three-door version.

Besides, in the relevant press release there is no mention of production or non-production, leaving every possibility open.

All that is mentioned is that the Gear Concept gives us an idea of ​​the design approach of the next small Hondas, addressed mainly to young drivers with a modern lifestyle.

Let's hope that when the Gear finally hits the streets, it retains the striking looks of the prototype.

The Swedish look at the Athens of the crisis

"The city of’ in this period it is of great artistic interest" tell us the curators of the exhibition of the Swedish Institute of Athens

How four Swedes see the Athens of the crisis; The exhibition "KRIS, an artistic test on the concept of crisis" presented by the Swedish Institute of Athens highlights the value of the city as a place of artistic inspiration but also the importance of cooperation between Greece and Sweden. Curated by Antonis Bogadakis - who has participated in organizing exhibitions in Sweden and Turkey, while working in Northern Sweden- the Swedish artists Cecilia Järdemar; (in collaboration with Loukia Alavanou), Jesper Nordahl, Carl Palm and Lisa Torell were invited to come into contact with the Greek reality and express their comments through art.
 The only Greek woman participating in the exhibition, Loukia Alavanou, which won the TIE IT award 2007 and lives between Athens and London, he tells vima.gr : "Athens has a great artistic interest at this time. The political situation of the country and the images one sees in the city are reminiscent of Berlin immediately after the fall of the wall. The moment is important to carry out such initiatives as the invitation of foreign artists and the exchange of artistic ideas and opinions. Unfortunately, Nevertheless, Greece is not familiar with the institution of residency as it is called. Too bad because even countries that are not in Europe, like Cairo, have tradition p’ these practices".

 According to the people at the Swedish Institute of Athens, the invitation to four Swedish artists to capture through art the comments and impressions from their contact with the Greek reality in this difficult period becomes at the same time an occasion to explore the perspective of the trenches as they have been defined by the dividing lines that have been set and widely disseminated primarily by the mass media between the north and the south of Europe. The exhibition aspires to contribute to a debate that has been open for a long time not only about the reasons for the outbreak of the crisis but also about the role that the concept of the political plays in dealing with it.
 The report is complemented by two separate discussions, one with the participating artists on Saturday 2 February 2013 (time 18:00) and the other with Aris Fioretos as guests, author and professor of Theory of Aesthetics and Literature at the University College of Sentertern in Stockholm and Alexandra Deligiorgis, writer and professor of Philosophy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on Saturday 9 February 2013 (time 18:00).

Alexis Georgoulis: The big comeback after five years

Alexis Georgoulis has left Greece as he has been living and working permanently in Los Angeles for a few years now.

However, after the summer the 37-year-old actor stayed for a while in Cyprus starring in the show "Miss Julie" which was staged for a limited number of performances, while then he returned to Greece participating in a theatrical performance that was presented at the Regency Casino in Thessaloniki.

Now, and after approx 5 years of absence from the Athenian theaters, came back strongly starring in the play “Agamoi Thytai.. in Goudi” presented at the Badminton Theater by 23 January to 3 February.

The “Agamoi Thytai” have erased a course of many years in the artistic events, with musical theater performances, which have as their cutting edge the element of satire. This time their topic is the financial crisis and the Troika in a "Balkan, audiovisual spectacle, similar to the European ones, maybe not even the American Broadway ones".

They star in the show: Ierocles Michaelidis, Evelina Papoulia, Dimitris Starovas, Alexis Georgoulis, Christos Mitrentzis

The premiere of the show was attended by Maria Solomou and Panos Mouzourakis among others.

"We will remember you, Pavle Matesi, as an intellectual of the high art of speech"

The writer's funeral took place from the Papagou Cemetery

Under the cypress trees of the Papagou Cemetery rests the body of Pavlos Matesi.
The funeral service was sung on Tuesday at noon in the church of Evangelistria of Papagos in the presence of his relatives and numerous writers and theater people.
Dimitris Posantzis said goodbye to the deceased on behalf of Kastaniotis publications: "We are your debtors, those of us who were lucky enough to know you well. We will always remember you as an intellectual dedicated to the high art of speech and the value of literature, as a teacher who taught dignity and deep humanity."

The 2016 η Mercedes GLC

According to international special press reports, Mercedes-Benz is preparing a coupe version of the GLK, which will probably be called the GLC and will be launched the 2016.

The three-door GLC will be based on the second-generation GLK and will be launched on the global market, inside 2016.

The first information indicates that it will be a raised three-door coupe, which will not adopt the square shape of the first GLK, but it will be distinguished for the most graceful and curved lines, which is required to have a car of the category.

GLC, if the name is eventually registered, will be one of the first models of the brand, which will step on the new rear-wheel drive platform, codenamed MRA.

It will be equipped with engines 2.0 and 2.2 liter, petrol and diesel, while an AMG version is also planned, with a twin-turbo 4-liter V8 engine, return 462 horses.

Optionally, it will also be available with the new 4MATIC four-wheel drive system (standard on top versions) and prices are expected to start from 34.426 euro.

Katerina Kainourgiou: "I have so many insecurities it's almost ungrateful"

Katerina Kainourgiou was photographed for the magazine “OK!” and talked about the mistakes she herself made regarding her personal life, but also her relationship with Giorgos Samaras after their separation.

The young presenter admitted about the mistakes she made in her personal life: "It's my fault. I am very exaggerated and take things to their limits. I take full responsibility for my breakups. When something beautiful breaks, it's always my fault".

Katerina Kainourgiou, in fact, she confessed that her personal insecurity is the reason that her relationships have an unfortunate end many times: "I have so many insecurities that I am bordering on ingratitude (…) With my insecurity I have ruined beautiful relationships, beautiful moments. I act nervous, stressful, I'm making the wrong moves. And of course I'm jealous. Not other women – I've never been jealous of another woman- but my partner. But I don't think that's the only reason I'm alone. It is also a matter of luck to find the ideal person. Some never find him".

End, when asked about her recent meeting with Giorgos Samaras at the Athens Arena, who first revealed the Yupiii, Katerina Kainourgiou said: "I'm generally tired of reading scripts about this relationship. From there on I am of the opinion that there is no smoke without fire.
