Also in Madurai, Picasso met his last wife and muse, Jacqueline Rock, who stayed with him over 20 years, until the end of his life.
Along with the large collection of ceramics, the auction also includes several designs (in circulation) by Picasso, of Juan Miro and Andy Warhol owned by the mystery collector.
The House's auction coincides with the great ceramics exhibition "Picasso ceramics: Jacqueline’s gift to Barcelona», held at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, whose exhibits were donated to the museum by Picasso's wife, Jacqueline. The auction will take place on the same day as the very important Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints with designs from past centuries.

Michalis Hatzigiannis: At Eurovision together with Valanto Tryphonos;
According to a report by show-time.cy, Valanto Tryphonos was chosen by the state channel RIK, to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision contest in Sweden this Spring 2013.
However, Valanto Tryphonos, according to the same information, she will have Michalis Hatzigiannis by her side - certainly not her partner in the interpretation of the song, but as a composer, after, as everything shows, the Cypriot singer will sign the music of the track.
Until this time, the high-ranking executives of RIK support their choice, although nothing is final, after, as mentioned by an official of RIK in communication with Yupiii, “the signatures have not yet fallen and the RIK has not yet made any relevant announcement. However, this awareness, unless something changes, it won't be long”.

New Tiger from Triumph
Triumph has introduced a new Tiger, branded Sport. The changes it brings are more extensive than, what was expected, most to boost the sportiness of the bike, but some with the aim of making travel and daily use easier.
The changes remove the 1050 from Tiger Explorer and create an interesting series 3 displacement models 800, 1050 and 1200cc. Sport has it now 10 extra horsepower, single arm scissor, larger suitcases, stronger subframe, modern ABS, radial calipers up front and new headlights.
Based of course on existing 1050, the Sport follows the same recognizable aesthetic, although many plastics have changed. There is now an apron, a brand new tail and new sides. Previous projectors were heavily criticized and were replaced by conventional mirrors (reflector type).
Triumph says they not only weigh less, but they also perform better. Makes you wonder why the projector type were installed in the first place… The gel of the fairing is also new, with improved aerodynamic performance.
Engine, although internally the same, it gets its extra power from changes in intake and exhaust, having more torque at all turns. It's working now 123 horsepower (+10 from simple 1050) and 10,4 kgm of torque.
Interventions in the injection system also improved consumption, with Triumph specifying the benefit to +7%. End, the new exhaust added "depth" to the beautiful roar of the big three-cylinder engine.
The single arm scissor is not from the Speed Triple. We don't know if it will improve the Sport's handling but it looks great, while freeing up space for the exhaust and panniers. Which are not only bigger, but they have also been certified for twice the weight compared to the previous ones –i.e. at 10 kilograms each.
This is due to the new, stronger subframe, thanks to which the saddle has a reduced height by 5 mm (now on 830). It is also narrower at the front, which further improves the ability of the rider to reach the ground with both feet.
Even more, almost 10 mm. the passenger seat is lowered, which now feels less like sitting on top of a rock. The handles are now more comfortable to grip. The handlebars are slightly narrower and closer to the rider, while the control of the instrument panel has been transferred to the left grip – at last.
In the framework there are no changes, but the caster angle is smaller (half a fate), while to maintain balance in the geometry, the wheelbase has been lengthened. The interventions have, according to Triumph, resulted in an improvement in agility, accuracy but also stability.
The suspension is fully adjustable, wears new springs and different damping settings to cope with increased luggage carrying capacity. The brakes now act on the discs via radial calipers, promising better accuracy, but already the Tiger 1050 it had excellent brakes.
The one that will make the difference down the road, is the new ABS system in place of the outdated existing one that accompanied the Tiger from its inception and was already outdated. The new wheels wear Pirelli's new Angel GTs.
The Tiger Sport will come in two colors: red and white. Prices will be announced in February.
