Talking about the difficult era of "Hello", where she was forced to be in America when her daughter Melina was very young, Despina revealed: "It was very difficult with the Hey tour. Hats off to those who do this. It was a period of my life, when Hello had climbed the billboard in America and I was running from America, Russia and from Russia to Germany and from there I don't know where,  that I got mad and said: "This is not a way of life. I want my Greece now"".

Afterwards, the singer did not hesitate to reveal the difficult nights she spent in America. "Mother" was more meaningful to me. It was so big what was happening, however, it was overshadowed by the fact of motherhood. I wanted to go back to my minion Melina and I couldn't enjoy it, as I should have enjoyed it. In America, for twelve days I went for interviews and came back at night and cried in the hotel because I wanted to go back to my child", he confessed.

The singer also talked about her children and how at first she was constantly wondering why people were coming up to her and asking for autographs, while she did not hide her concern, maybe all this publicity is harming her children in the end. "I worry about whether this popularity creates a different psychology in the children. But we are above them, Me and Demis too, trying to protect them from o,anything created for them", he said.
