Η παράδοση της νηστείας Παραδοσιακά μετά τα Χριστούγεννα και πριν το Πάσχα, most of us have fasted from time to time, or at least we have tried to fast, for our own reasons. Besides, fasting according to Greek-Orthodox Christianity does not require suffering, but probably one a test of mind and body. The combination of these also constitutes the "fortress" against gluttony and vile thoughts, words and deeds. Alongside, our fasting is unique since if we put them down, covers a large part of calendar time (about 180-200 days) and presents several variations. So, in the words of numbers, the Lenten fast lasts 48 days, of Christmas others 40 and August 15. Η Διατροφή της Σαρακοστής και της Μεγάλης Εβδομάδας Nutritionally now, the general lines concern the avoiding animal foods , that is, meat, eggs and dairy products (cheese, milk and yogurt). In particular, we do not eat during Lent and Holy Week meat, dairy products, eggs, fish and olive oil. Of course, fish is allowed on 25 Of March Στη θέση των παραπάνω συνιστώνται όσπρια, φρούτα, λαχανικά, θαλασσινά, greens, bread, potatoes and occasionally, pasta or some fasting sweet (halva, pastel). A little wine with food is also allowed, up to a glass αν θέλουμε να μιλήσουμε με διαιτολογικούς όρους. Με μια πρώτη ματιά αντιλαμβανόμαστε πως η νηστεία πριν το Πάσχα συνιστά μια διατροφή low in saturated fat and cholesterol and rich in monounsaturated fat, fiber and vitamins. What does this mean for our organization?; Continue at source ....
